A. The Town of Yountville is required to maintain clean streets to comply with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association (BASMAA) Phase II Municipal Regional Permit. Street sweeping removes debris and pollutants from roadways, helping protect water quality and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Town.

B. The Town’s existing contract for street sweeping services is expiring, and the Town conducted a public bid process to solicit proposals for a new contract term.

C. The Town received three (3) public bids for street sweeping services, and Commercial Power Sweep, Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

D. Commercial Power Sweep, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide street sweeping services for a three-year term in the amount of $252,384 and is able to meet all contracting, insurance, and bonding requirements of the Town.
