A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MEASURE-U FISCAL YEAR 2026 PROJECT TITLED VISTA NEIGHBORHOOD REHABILITATION PROJECT NO. MU-3027 AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE PROJECT.

A. At the May 6, 2025, Town Council meeting, the Town Council adopted Yountville’s Measure-U 5-year Plan. Measure-U is the half cent transaction and use (sales) tax to provide supplemental funding for road maintenance previously known as Measure-T. The Town’s annual Measure-U paving project is CIP MU-3027.
B. The design for this project was prepared by town staff and Pavement Engineering Inc. (PEI) with the construction plans completed in August 2026.
C. Project MU-3027 consists of the rehabilitation of the Vista Neighborhood and is comprised of Vista Court, Vineyard Circle and Vista Drive.
D. The Measure-U available budget for this project is $750,000.
E. Staff requests the Town Council approve and adopt the plans and working details and authorize staff to publicly bid the Measure-U 3027 Roadway Rehabilitation Vista Neighborhood Project.
F. This project is categorically exempt under Section 15302(c) Categorically Exempt per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guideline; Class 2, Replacement or Reconstruction.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approve and adopt the design and plans for the Measure-U 3027 Roadway Rehabilitation Vista Neighborhood Project.
2. Authorize the solicitation of bids for the construction of Measure-U 3027 Roadway Rehabilitation Vista Neighborhood Project.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
