Resolution Number 26-4441
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE
APPOINTING AND APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN MANAGER.
Recitals
A. The position of Town Manager became vacant on May 1, 2026, and the Town Council by adoption of Resolution Number 26-4411, appointed Ken MacNab to serve as the Interim Town Manager “for a period commencing on May 5, 2026, until the hiring of a Town Manager or through September 30, 2026, whichever occurs first”; and B. Yountville Municipal Code section 2.08.010 provides: “The Town Manager shall be appointed by the Council on the basis of administrative and executive abilities and serve at the pleasure of the Council”; and
C. After an extensive recruitment process, the Town Council unanimously selected Heather Abrams to serve as the next Town Manager effective October 19, 2026; and D. The Town Council wishes to appoint and approve an employment agreement with Heather Abrams as Town Manager effective October 19, 2026.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. The recitals above are true and correct and fully incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Town Council hereby appoints Heather Abrams as Town Manager effective October 19, 2026, and approves the employment agreement attached hereto as Exhibit “A”.
3. The Town Council hereby thanks Ken MacNab for his service as Interim Town Manager, which shall end at midnight on September 15, 2026.
4. This Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Yountville, State of California, held on this 15th day of September 2026 by the following vote:
