Why do you want to serve on this Board, Commission, or Committee? NVTA is an important and high-functioning countywide agency. It's important for our community and the long-future to reduce our carbon emissions. Encouraging multimodal transportation is one worthy method.
How would you approach the volunteer position representing the community's interests?
I would try to learn more about active transportation and volunteer to educate, train or mentor Yountville community members who wish to walk more, cycle more or use transit for some of their trips.
What strengths/expertise/special skills would you bring to the Board, Commission, or Committee?
I am currently the Environmental Concern member of NVTA's CAC. I travel by bike/transit 5-6 times per week.I have relationships with many different groups in town (bridge, pickleball, library people, Old Town neighborhood, Bridge at the Vets Home on Mondays) and welcome all interest. I'll start wherever the person wants to start.

NVTA CAC member since 2022 Tax Counselor for AARP Tax-Aide since 2024 5th grade math tutoring at Bel-Aire Elementary 2023-2024 Napa Little League Board member ~2012-2017

Since I already serve on NVTA's CAC, if someone else wants this position, please appoint them. If someone else wants it in the future, I welcome their participation and would fall back to just CAC membership.
