Why do you want to serve on this Board, Commission, or Committee? I joined the Measure S Oversite Committee not long after it was formed. As a Committee, we were honored to contribute a substantial amount of money to acquiring the then-YES Property. Since then, l've felt a responsibility to see that the investment was appropriately used. I also noted that the opportunities to use Measure S money in creative ways is allowed under the Charter. I'd like to investigate strategies not just to acquire affordable and workforce housing, but to preserve existing affordable rental housing.
How would you approach the volunteer position representing the community's interests? Modestly, I am comfortable in the Yountville community and have many friends and acquaintances who know I have never shied from making my position(s) known on various local issues. I believe I have credibility among my neighbors, both those I know and, hopefully, those I've yet to personally meet.

Thanks for the opportunity to reapply for a seat on the Measure S Committee! I look forward to continuing to function as a resource for the Town Council not only via the oversight work, but as an advocate to help work thru our much needed safe and affordable housing challenge, particularly to the extent we can realistically provide appropriate housing opportunities for our local workforce.
