A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR WW-0042 RECYCLED WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN REPAIRS PROJECT
PERFORMED BY PRECISION DIRECTIONAL BORING FOR THE FINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $1,336,595.47.

A. At the July 7, 2026 Town Council meeting, Council awarded the WW-0042 Recycled Water Transmission Main Repair Project to Precision Directional Boring at the bid price of $1,329,244.00.
B. This project consisted of the direct boring method installation of a 6” inch recycled water transmission line to replace a section of existing damaged pipe.
C. The Town issued the notice to proceed on July 28, 2026, with a contract completion date of October 5, 2026. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife permit required all work subject to environmental clearance to be completed by October 15, 2026. Construction was completed on October 2, 2026, ahead of both deadlines.
D. There was one change order resulting in a total project cost of $1,336,595.47 which will be paid for by the Town’s asset insurance.
E. All of the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer of Record and the Public Works Department. By this Resolution, the Town Council authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute the Notice of Completion.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. The Council hereby accepts the work performed by Precision Directional Boring.
2. The Town Clerk is hereby directed to file a Notice of Completion for said project with the Napa County Clerk Recorder within 10 days and accepts the work for the WW-0042 Recycled Water Transmission Main Repair Project.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
