FISCAL IMPACT:

The Fiscal Year 2022/23 draft budget will include an allocation of $17,000 for the November 2022 General Election. The ROV has not yet provided the City with an estimated cost for services; however, based on historical costs for comparable elections, the amount of $17,000 should be sufficient to cover the costs associated with services for the two contests. Once the election is complete, the ROV will reconcile the difference between the actual cost and the estimated cost and will provide a final invoice at that time.
