Community Events
On May 21st, Yucaipa Police staff members played a softball game with the Yucaipa Little League Challengers. We look forward to more opportunities to participate with the community outside of law enforcement calls for service as the county moves out of COVID restrictions.
COP Academy Graduates
Our newest Citizen Volunteer members graduated from the volunteer academy at the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Training Center on January 20th. They spent two weeks learning about department policies, CPR first aid, emergency operations and legal requirements while conducting themselves as a volunteer. During the event, they met Sheriff Shannon Dicus along with other members of the Sheriff's Executive Staff.
Welcome to our team, Charles Mayfield, Kent Colby, and Kurt Shull.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT:
The Yucaipa Police Department is fortunate to work in a very supportive community.
From time to time, several businesses owners and community members visit the Police Station to show their support and appreciation by donating food, water, and gift cards.
Deputies and staff are very appreciative of the public's support for law enforcement. i
