Good Afternoon City Council Members. My name is James Glubka and as a 30+ year resident of Yucaipa I am concerned with the way the city handled the dismissal of Ray Casey and David Snow at the last meeting, especially given the fact that this was the first meeting with our newly elected members. Did you think it would go unnoticed and that this was the proper way to slide this past us? What made you believe that Chris Mann & his lawyer would be an asset to our city with their lack of experience in comparison to Ray & David. Ray Casey & David Snow have been of great value to Yucaipa and given their experience and knowledge combined; they have always chosen the concerns of our citizens to be of value in making Yucaipa home to so many families. Finding out about the donations made to a couple of City Council members from Chris Mann is highly suspect at the timing of all these proceedings and the fact that Rays evaluations have been excellent as recent as a couple months back. What do you suppose this leads one to believe? I say if it stinks like garbage, then more than likely it is garbage. So let's all reconsider our stand here and clean the mess up before our City begins to look like the rest of the State and not the Great place it's been to live for so many of us. It's always been one of Californias gems and I for one, would like to continue to see it as such.
