SUBJECT: Oral Report of a Summary of Compensation and Approval of an Employment Agreement for Chris Mann as City Manager, effective March 1, 2023, and Setting Compensation and Other Terms of Employment (Continued from January 23, 2023)
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive an Oral Report of a Summary of Compensation and Approve an Employment Agreement for Chris Mann as City Manager, effective March 1, 2023, and Setting Compensation and Other Terms of Employment.
DISCUSSION:
On January 9, 2023, the City Council voted 4-1 to appoint Chris Mann as City Manager effective March 1, 2023.
The City Council held a special closed session meeting on January 23, 2023, prior to the regular City Council meeting to negotiate the final terms and conditions of the Employment Agreement with Chris Mann. At this meeting, the City Council voted to continue this item.
Based on Council action, a special closed session meeting will be held on January 30, 2023, to negotiate the final terms and conditions of the Employment Agreement with Chris Mann. The final terms and conditions will be publicly available following the negotiation and a summary orally reported in open session.
