SUBJECT: Appointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission That City Council Appoint a Student Member to the Parks and Recreation Commission. � �
Staff conducted recruitment for the conunission/committee member appointments set to expire on December 31, 2022. On December 12, 2022, the City Council approved the appointments of Denise Allen (Mayor Beaver's appointment), Darren Espiritu (Mayor Pro Tem Duncan's appointment), Leonard LaRocca Jr. (Councilmember Venable's appointment), Douglas Witham (Councilmember Thorp's appointment), and Maureen Ingalls (Councilmember Garner's appointment) to the Parks and Recreation Commission (Commission). Currently the Commission has one vacant Student Member position, which leaves one vacant seat.
