SUBJECT: Appointment to the Trails and Open Space Committee RECOMMENDATION:
That Councilmember Garner review the attached Citizens Service Applications and appoint one (1) member to the Trails and Open Space Committee to fill a current vacancy.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
The Trails and Open Space Committee currently has one vacant City Council appointed position due to a voluntary resignation on March 07, 2023, as indicated in the following table:

The General Services/City Clerk Department posted the Trails and Open Space Committee vacancy at City Hall, on the City website, at Yucaipa Library and in the local newspaper. In response, staff received six (6) Citizen Service Applications from residents interested in being a member of the Trails and Open Space Committee. Attached to this report are copies of the Citizen Service Applications received.
