SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget Adjustment Report — December 2023 RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council receive and file the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget Adjustment Report for December 2023.
BACKGROUND:
Staff may, on a quarterly and as -needed basis, present a variety of budget adjustments requiring the approval of the City Council. These changes are submitted to the Finance Committee for review prior to submission to Council and include an explanation and justification for each transaction. This report includes adjustments that have been identified by monitoring department budgets, as an attachment to the report. Adjustments are segregated by fund and department as appropriate.
In addition, the report will also include, as an attachment, a summary of any budget adjustments approved by staff, consistent with the authority levels that were approved and delegated by Council in the City's Budget Policy (Resolution 2021-40).
DISCUSSION:
The Budget Adjustment Report for December does not contain any budget adjustment requests for Council approval, only a summary of budget adjustments approved by staff (Attachment 1) to be received and filed.

The fiscal impact of each item is indicated within the attachment(s).
