That the City Council discuss the 2025 City Council Meeting Schedule.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
On December 9, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-62, setting the 2025 City Council Meeting Schedule (Schedule).
The following meetings for 2025 were not scheduled per Resolution No. 2024-62:

A similar schedule was adopted for the 2024 calendar year.
At the July 28, 2025, Regular City Council Meeting, Councilmember Woolsey expressed concern over the adopted Schedule and Mayor Thorp directed staff to bring this item back for Council discussion.
Staff recommends that Council discuss the Schedule for the remainder of 2025 and advise staff of any desired changes.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The recommendation does not result in a fiscal impact.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YUCAIPA, CALIFORNIA, SETTING THE 2025 CALENDAR YEAR SCHEDULE FOR
CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the City Council periodically changes the date of regularly scheduled meetings; and
WHEREAS, setting a schedule for the 2025 calendar year will assist in managing City Council meeting agendas; and
WHEREAS, at the December 9, 2024 regular meeting, the City Council reviewed and considered the 2025 City Council Regular Meeting Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YUCAIPA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2025 City Council Regular Meeting Schedule is set as follows:

January 27
February 10
February 24
March 10
March 24
April 14
April 28
May 12
May 26 — No Meeting — Memorial Day
June 9
June 23
July 14 — No Meeting — Summer Recess
July 28

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to make changes to the meeting schedule as necessary.
