Acquisition – Incentive Payment Program
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is participating in an Incentive Payment Program approved by the Federal Highway Administration under 23 CFR 710.203(b)(2)(ii). This program encourages the expeditious acquisition of real property and allows a ten percent (10%) increase of the appraised value.

The appraised value for the area to be acquired for 89455 is $1,250.00 for the parcel. The Incentive Payment at a ten percent (10%)increase of appraised value is $125.00 for the parcel. However, there is a minimum payment required for the incentive program of $1,000.00 for each parcel. Therefore, the appraised value of $1,250.00 for each parcel, in addition to the incentive payment of $1,000.00 for each parcel, increases the acquisition offer to $2,250.00 for the parcel.

The State’s offer of $2,250.00 is valid for sixty (60) days and expires on December 19th, 2025.

As of December 20th, 2025, the State’s offer will revert to the appraised value of $1,250.00.
