Conclusion
The steering committee has successfully addressed many of the highest-priority hazard concerns identified in Survey 1, with particularly strong alignment in earthquake, flooding, wildfire, and drought mitigation strategies. The community generally perceives the city's approach to balancing different aspects of hazard mitigation as appropriate.
However, gaps remain in several key areas, particularly cyber threats and power outage resilience, which received lower adequacy ratings despite being high-priority concerns.
Additionally, while specific mitigation actions have strong support, overall awareness of the city's hazard mitigation efforts remains limited.
By addressing these gaps and strengthening the identified areas, the Hazard Mitigation Plan can more comprehensively address the community's concerns while building on the strong foundation of mitigation actions that already have significant community support.

Correlation with Previous Surveys
This final review survey provides strong validation that the completed Hazard Mitigation Plan effectively addresses the priorities and concerns identified in the previous two community surveys:
1. Earthquake Focus: The initial survey identified earthquakes as the top hazard concern, with 59.1% of respondents naming it their primary concern. The final plan review shows that stakeholders are satisfied with the earthquake mitigation measures, with specific comments supporting "earthquake retrofitting" as a key focus area.
2. Critical Infrastructure Protection: The second and third highest concerns from the initial survey were prolonged power outages and cyber threats. The final survey's mention of "ensuring power supply" as a critical focus area confirms that the plan appropriately addresses this priority.
3. Family Safety and Community Engagement: The initial survey showed 73.9% of respondents citing safety of family and self as their primary concern, while over 60% expressed interest in being involved in the planning process. The final survey's emphasis on "community partnership" and "community involvement" validates that these concerns have been effectively addressed in the plan.
4. Comprehensive Hazard Coverage: The unanimous agreement that the plan covers the right risks for the City of Chino confirms that the hazard prioritization from the earlier surveys has been successfully translated into the final plan.
Conclusion
The Public Plan Review Survey results demonstrate strong community support for the City of Chino Hazard Mitigation Plan. Stakeholders across various sectors have confirmed that the plan effectively captures the community's hazard concerns, presents appropriate mitigation strategies, and establishes a solid framework for implementation and maintenance.
The few suggestions received primarily focus on enhancing community involvement during implementation rather than substantive changes to the plan itself, indicating that the document successfully addresses the community's hazard mitigation needs and priorities.
These results, combined with the findings from the previous two surveys, provide a robust foundation for the adoption and implementation of the Hazard Mitigation Plan, ensuring that Chino will be well- positioned to reduce risk and build resilience against the natural and man-made hazards it faces.
