2 Recommending City policy, legislation, and programs, subject to approval by a majority of the City Council;
Representing the City for ceremonial purposes;
Represent the City in intergovernmental relations, personally or by a designated representative with the concurrence of the Council; and Establishing and dissolving limited-term ad hoc committees, subject to the approval of the Council
The Vice Mayor’s primary responsibility is to perform the Mayor’s duties in the Mayor’s absence.
