I have been the president of a non-profit chapter that helps the LGBTQ community Bay-wide for almost 2 years but I have recently been wanting to serve my local community more directly. Having recently moved in with my long term partner who has been a resident of the Cherry-Guardino area for multiple years, I'd like to support the Fremont community in increasing the representation and visible diversity.

I am a 39yr old bisexual Transgender woman, who has worked in the building trades as a electrician for almost 14 years and is a practitioner of an uncommon faith.I've known what it's like to feel safe and secure but also what it's like to suffer and struggle. I've experienced the fear that a lack of representation brings, including almost losing my life to that fear. I've known what its like to need help and the courage it takes to ask for such from your community, and now I want to help make that representation more accessible.

San Diego Electrical Training Center A.S. Electrical Construction 2016 While I am newly a resident of Fremont, I've been a resident of the wider Bay area since 2016 and have spent a large amount of time in Fremont with my partner. I've been an advocate for community engagement since the Pandemic when lack of a community almost cost me my life. Since then I've been a fighter for greater representation in a multitude of spaces, both local to the Bay and across the country including Washington D.C. It'd be my honor to serve the community my partner and I fell in love in, as well as the one I now call home, as a member of the Human Relations Commission.
