FEMA review fee for a CLOMR and LOMR is subject to change and need to be verified prior to application submittal. Additional fees not included in this scope of services will be paid by the CITY.
• For geotechnical investigation, some of the proposed Cone Penetration Test (CPT) locations fall within private properties which will require permits to enter. For other locations which fall within the City’s right of way, it is assumed that the CITY will waive potential encroachment permit fees for these borings.
• The CITY will waive encroachment permit fees for services to be performed as part of this project.
• Type Selection Report for proposed structures will be based on Advance Planning Study prepared during PA&ED phase.
• Structures outside of Caltrans right of way will not require a formal type selection meeting.
• The variable message signs at Calle Real will be connected to a controller, which will be powered by AC. If not able to connect to the existing signal cabinet located at the intersection of N. Kellogg Ave and Calle Real, it is assumed that a new service connection will be needed for this variable message sign.
• Optional tasks listed require prior approval by the City. Fee estimate for Optional TBD tasks is to be determined.
• A separate fee estimate is prepared for items listed as Phase 2 under this scope of services.

• For hydrology/hydraulics analysis, if FEMA does not accept a No-Rise Certification for the proposed improvements, CLOMR and LOMR applications need to be submitted and processed through the FEMA Online LOMC website. No hard copies of the CLOMR or LOMR application will be created.

If required, a CLOMR will be prepared during Phase 1, of this scope of services listed as an optional task requiring prior City approval to complete. If required, a LOMR will be prepared as part of Phase 2 of this scope of services, listed as an optional task requiring prior City approval along with an additional fee estimate approval.
• For hydrology/hydraulics analysis, the cu rrent fee for an online submittal of a CLOMR is included in this scope of services. The FEMA LOMR review fee is not included in this scope of services.
• Optional tasks listed require prior approv al by the City. Fee estimate for Optional TBD tasks is to be determined.
