Dear Planning Commissioners,
Unfortunately, I am unable to attend tonight’s Planning Commission Meeting. However, I am writing to you to STRONGLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY support the Pacifica School District Workforce Housing project at 930 Oddstad Blvd.
I live just down the street from the proposed project. My two children graduated from Oddstad Elementary School. I was on the PSD Board of Trustees for six years and served ten years on the PSD Bond Review Committee. This housing project will be an excellent and sorely-needed addition to our community. Enduring a little construction dust and congestion is a welcome trade-off for beautiful and affordable housing for Pacifica teachers and District staff. We’ve lost too many quality teachers and needed staff to far-flung cities due to lack of affordable housing in our expensive area.
I urge you to approve the Final EIR and advance this matter to the City Council for final consideration. Thank you.

Dear Planning Commissioners,
I support housing for Pacifica teachers and District staff. I have lived 3 blocks away From Oddstad school for 31 years.
I feel it’s imperative to support Pacifica School District employees to retain their services. If we do not offer more affordable housing, it’s difficult to retain the current staff. Offering affordable housing will also attract new employees to our district. This perk can help offset other school districts that pay substantially higher salaries.
This proposal is the best solution & use of the vacant Oddstad school parcel. I hope our City Planners approve this project for the sake of our children & attract & retain school employees in Pacifica.
I appreciate your attention to this matter.
