Why you want to serve on a city board or commission:
would like to serve on the animal control commission to participate in the positive changes that are occuring a ur shelter. I would like to learn as much as possible about the workings of animal control and the shelter so 1 ma be an effective souce of correct and accurate information when communicating with the city's residents.

Worked at a professional breeding (German Shepherd Dogs) and boarding kennel.
Responsible for all breeding/show/boarding dogs including assisting with breedings, whelping litters, care of ill dogs and grooming.
Assistance dog trainer/instructor and Training Director with well-established non-profit (501C3) assistance dog program.

I've been fortunate to have worked with professionals that were willing to mentor me.
