The City of Sa n Ber nar dino is an
entitlement jurisdiction tha t
receives Com munity Devel opme nt
B lock Grant (CDBG) , HOME
Investment Partners hips, an d
Emerg ency Solutions Gr ant (ESG)
funds directly from the U.S.
Department of H ousing and Urba n
Deve lopment (HU D). T he City, ov er
the next 5 years, anticipates
receiving ap proxim ately $20.5
million in CDB G, HOM E an d ES G
funds. The City estimat es $4 million
in HU D funding in year 1 of the
ConPlan.
The purpose of the hearings is to
provide public comm ents to the City
of San Bernardino's 2025 -2029
ConPlan and 2025 -2026D raft A A P. In
conformanc e with the City'sPublic
Partic ipation P lan, the City will be
holding two public hearings. Th e
purpo se of the hear ings is to prov ide
informat ion on prior
acco mpli shmen ts and to hea r from
residents and stakeholders on the
need s of the City's low -to -modera te
incom e residents w ith regard to
infrastructure, services, an d
hou sing.
The funding amount s listed in the
FY 2025 -2026 AAP are based on
estimates and are subject to cha ng e
once HUD announces the final gran t
am ounts. W hen the actu al
allocations are received, the City
wi ll adj ust the ConPlan and final
FY 2025 -2026 AAP docum ents to
matc h final FY 2025 -2026 allocation
accordingly. Th e following services
