Sunshine Motel — 570 N. H Street, San Bernardino, CA 92401 This image taken from Google Maps, the focus location of this search warrant will be the front office indicated by the red circle, as well as any part of the premises open to the public and unoccupied rooms (excluding individual occupied rooms at the time of service).
The Sunshine Motel is located at 570 N. H Street in the City and County of San Bernardino. lt is a small motel situated along the west side of N. H Street, just north of the intersection with W. Spruce Street. The motel is a two-story structure with access to the parking lot only through one entrance on N. H Steet. The front office is located right next to the driveway into the small parking lot and has windows facing the driveway as well as the parking lot. The front office area also serves as a residence for the manager, which is located deeper within the front office area. The rooms are laid out in an "L" formation, with the long portion running east/west, and the shorter portion running north/south further west from the intersection. The numbering system of each room is on a "hundred" basis, in which the first digit indicates the floor and the last two digits indicates the room number. For example, the first room on the ground level is Room "101", which indicates the first floor and first room located right next to the front office, while the last room on the ground level is Room "111", which is the last room located on the shorter end of the "L" on toward the west side of the parking lot. The second story rooms follow this same format, with Room "201" being directly above "101", and Room "211" located directly above "111". There are 22 rooms total at this motel. The photograph below depicts the top-down view of this motel as seen through Google Maps.

SEARCH WARRANT AND AFFIDAVIT]
CODE ENFORCEMENT:
Your affiant requests Code Enforcement Officers to accompany the Peace Officers executing this Search Warrant for the purpose of enforcement of any city code violations following the execution of the search warrant. lt is common for suspected brothels to have numerous health code violations, such as unsanitary conditions.
REQUEST OF AFTER-HOUR "NIGHT" SERVICE:
Based on your affiant's training and experience, locations which conduct illegal commercial sex (commonly referred to as brothels) often experience their heaviest traffic late at night beyond 2200 hours, which is beyond the normal court operating hours — this location advertises that it closes at approximately 0130 hours. Due to this, it may be in the interest of justice to serve this warrant after- hours; this includes preservation of evidence as well as the rescue of potential victims of human trafficking. I respectfully request the court to allow the service of this search warrant, pending the availability of resources, during any time of the day or night as allowed by PC 1533. 10 SBPD CASE #2026-16829
