RESOLUTION NO. _____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING A PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESSING FEES POLICY WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clara (the “City”) is a municipal corporation and charter city duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City desires to establish a Payment Acceptance and Processing Fees Policy to, among other things, recover payment transaction processing costs; set transaction limits; and establish processing requirements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council hereby adopts a Payment Acceptance and Processing Fees Policy (attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference).
2. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager, Director of Finance, and the Assistant Director of Finance to implement and administer the Policy.
3. Effective date. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
