Dear Maria,
I am writing to formally resign from my position as Chair of the City of Santa Monica Clean Oceans and Beaches Measure V Parcel Tax Oversight Committee, effective today. It has been a privilege to serve on this committee, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our community's efforts.
The experiences and insights gained during this period have been invaluable, and I am proud of the progress we have achieved together.
While I am stepping down from this role, I am pleased to accept the nomination to the Commission on Environmental Justice, Sustainability, and Environment. I look forward to continuing my service to the City of Santa Monica in this new capacity and contributing to broader environmental initiatives that address pressing issues of sustainability and justice.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to my fellow committee members, city staff, and the community for their support and collaboration. I am confident that the Clean Oceans and Beaches Measure V Oversight Committee will continue to make significant strides.
