Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on March 24, 2026, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance to provide for additional regulations related to sitting and lying in the public right-of-way and possession of open alcoholic beverage containers to coordinate with the establishment of Entertainment Zones and upcoming major events. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
