As Table 12 shows, transportation costs are comparable for all racial/ethnic groups in Temecula.

Native Americans have the highest costs, with an index value of 33.70, and Hispanic residents have the lowest costs, with an index value of 38.56. For residents living below the poverty line, transportation costs are generally lower, with higher index values for all groups except Native Americans, who have the lowest index value in the jurisdiction: 30.42.

In the region, index values are higher for all groups, indicating lower transportation costs overall for residents in the region. There are no large disparities by race/ethnicity. The lowest index value is 42.13 (for White, Non -Hispanic residents) and the highest index value is 46.31 (for Hispanic residents). For the population below the poverty line, index values are higher for all racial/ethnic groups. Hispanic residents living below the poverty line have the highest index value (49.70) and White, Non -Hispanic residents living below the poverty line have the lowest index value (45.70).

Map 10 — Demographics and Transit Trips is a series of three maps showing the Transit Index and population distribution by race/ethnicity, national origin, and family type. On these maps, the areas with darker shading have higher index values, which means they are areas with better access to public transit. The maps show that residents in neighborhoods in the central and northwestern part of the jurisdiction have better access to public transit than other areas in Temecula. As described previously, Temecula residents experience a relatively high level of residential integration across races/ethnicities, national origins, and family types. Similarly, Map 10 shows that there is no concentration of particular racial/ethnic groups, national origin groups, or family types in neighborhoods with greater or lesser access to public transit. 37 HUD Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Data and Mapping Tool Name: Map 10 - Demographics and Transit Trips

Which racial/ethnic, national origin or family status groups are most affected by the lack of a reliable, affordable transportation connection between their place of residence and opportunities?
In general, there are no significant differences in access to public transit or transportation cost by race/ethnicity, national origin, or family type, with the exception of Native Americans living below the poverty line, who experience the least access to public transit and the highest transportation costs of any group.

Describe how the jurisdiction's and region's policies, such as public transportation routes or transportation systems designed for use personal vehicles, affect the ability of protected class groups to access transportation.

Public transportation is provided by the Riverside Transit Agency and is not under the authority of the City. However, Temecula is served by several bus lines that provide service throughout the 43 week and weekends. As it has done in the past, the City will continue to partner with developers to privately fund transportation options as development occurs. The City recently partners with RTA, the regional shopping mall, and the new community college campus to offer expanded transportation options to these workplaces, economic, and education opportunities.

Low Poverty Exposure Opportunities
Describe any disparities in exposure to poverty by protected class groups.

Table 12 — Opportunity Indicators, by Race/Ethnicity includes a Low Poverty Index, which measures the level of poverty in a neighborhood. Higher index values indicate less exposure to poverty in a neighborhood. As Table 12 shows, Temecula residents of different races/ethnicities in general have similar levels of exposure to poverty. White, Non -Hispanic residents have the least exposure to poverty, with an index value of 77.09. Hispanic residents have the most exposure to poverty, with an index value of 71.54. However, there are significant disparities in exposure to poverty by race/ethnicity for the population living below the poverty line. Asian/Pacific Islander residents living below the poverty line have the lowest index values (57.08), followed by Black and Hispanic residents (66.61 and 68.62, respectively), indicating these groups are more likely to be exposed to poverty in their neighborhoods than residents living above the poverty line.

Compared to the region, Temecula residents are much less likely to be exposed to poverty. In the region, Hispanic residents have the highest exposure to poverty, with an index value of 36.39.

Asia/Pacific Islander residents have the lowest exposure to poverty, with an index value of 58.83.

The population living below the poverty line in the region is even more likely to be exposed to poverty in their neighborhoods, with index values significantly lower than the overall population.

Index values for the population below the poverty line range from 24.29 for Hispanic residents to

41.94 for Asian/Pacific Islander residents.

What role does a person's place of residence play in their exposure to poverty?
Map 12 — Demographics and Poverty is a series of three maps showing the Low Poverty Index and population distribution by race/ethnicity, national origin, and family type. On these maps, the areas with darker shading have higher index values, which means they are areas with less exposure to poverty. The maps show that residents in neighborhoods in the eastern half of Temecula have less exposure to poverty than residents in other areas. As described previously, Temecula residents experience a relatively high level of residential integration across races/ethnicities, national origins, and family types. Similarly, Map 12 shows that there is no concentration of particular racial/ethnic groups, national origin groups, or family types in neighborhoods with more or less exposure to poverty.

Which racial/ethnic, national origin or family status groups are most affected by these poverty indicators?
According to the above analysis, Asian/Pacific Islanders living below the poverty line have the highest exposure to poverty in Temecula, followed by Black and Hispanic residents living below the poverty line.

The table below, titled "Poverty by Race/Ethnicity and National Origin", shows data from the 2013-2017 American Community Survey on poverty rates by race/ethnicity and national origin.

According to the table, Temecula has a relatively low poverty rate (6.81 %) compared to the region (16.82%), and this is true across race/ethnic and national origin groups (with the exception of Native Americans). Within Temecula, however, there are disparities in who experiences poverty by race/ethnicity and national origin. Native American residents have the highest poverty rate (30.36%), followed by Black residents (12.34%), Asian/Pacific Islander residents (8.04%), Hispanic residents (7.44%), and White, Non -Hispanic residents, who have the lowest poverty rate (5.75%). Foreign -born residents of Temecula are also slightly more likely to live below the poverty line, with a poverty rate of 7.7% compared to 6.64% for native-born residents. 47 In the region, similar disparities occur, with Native American, Black, and Hispanic residents more likely to live below the poverty line than White, Non -Hispanic residents. Asian/Pacific Islander residents in the region, while having a higher poverty rate than their counterparts in Temecula, have a relatively low poverty rate compared to other groups in the region. As in Temecula, foreign - born residents are more likely to live below the poverty line than native-born residents.

Note 1: Data Sources: U.S. Census
Bureau, 2013-2017American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates Describe how the jurisdiction's and region's policies affect the ability of protected class groups to access low poverty areas.

The City has adopted land use policies concentrating multi -family housing projects along major arterials, shopping, employment centers, and recreational facilities. This allows lower income persons easier access to opportunities; but at the same time, concentration of multi -family housing may statistically increase residents' exposure to poverty.

Environmentally Healthy Neighborhood Opportunities
Describe any disparities in access to environmentally healthy neighborhoods by protected class groups.

Table 12 — Opportunity Indicators, by Race/Ethnicity includes an Environmental Health Index, which captures the potential exposure to harmful toxins in a neighborhood. Higher index values indicate less exposure to harmful toxins, and therefore better environmental quality, in a neighborhood. As Table 12 shows, Temecula residents of different races/ethnicities in general have similar levels of access to environmentally healthy neighborhoods. Index values in Table 12 range from 41.00 for Hispanic residents to 44.83 for Native American residents. Populations living below the poverty line have similar levels of access to environmentally healthy neighborhoods.

Index values for those below the poverty line range from 39.17 for Asian/Pacific Islander residents to 47.35 for Native American Residents.

In the region, there are more disparities in access to environmentally health neighborhood across races/ethnicities. The lowest index value in the region is 35.12 for Asian/Pacific Islanders and the highest is 49.90 for Native Americans. For regional residents living below the poverty line, there are similar disparities: Asian/Pacific Islanders have the lowest index value (34.87) and White, Non -Hispanic residents have the highest index value —of any group in the region (51.53) Map 13 — Demographics and Environmental Health is a series of three maps showing the Environmental Health Index and population distribution by race/ethnicity, national origin, and family type. On these maps, the areas with darker shading have higher index values, which means they are areas with less exposure to harmful toxins and therefore higher environmental quality.

The maps show that most Temecula neighborhoods have a similar, relatively low (compared to the national average) level of environmental quality. Some neighborhoods along the eastern edge of the city have slightly higher index values, meaning that residents in those neighborhoods have access to a somewhat healthier environment than residents in other areas. As described previously, Temecula is well integrated and Map 13 shows that there is no concentration of racial/ethnic groups, national origin groups, or family types in neighborhoods with better or worse environmental quality.

Which racial/ethnic, national origin or family status groups have the least access to environmentally healthy neighborhoods?
The Environmental Health Index in Table 12 and Map 13 — Demographics and Environmental Health show that there is no significant disparity in access to environmentally healthy neighborhoods by race/ethnicity, national origin, or family status.

Patterns in Disparities in Access to Opportunity
Identify and discuss any overarching patterns of access to opportunity and exposure to adverse community factors based on race/ethnicity, national origin or familial status. Identify areas that experience an aggregate of poor access to opportunity and high exposure to adverse factors. Include how these patterns compare to patterns of segregation and R/ECAPs. 51 The analysis did not identify any overarching patterns of access to opportunity and/or exposure to adverse community factors based on race/ethnicity, national origin, or family type. In general, based on the data analyzed in the tables and maps, these protected class groups appear to have similar levels of access to opportunity and exposure to adverse community factors.

Regarding areas that experience an aggregate of poor access to opportunity and high exposure to adverse community factors, Census tract 432.16 has a Low Poverty Index value of 37 and a Labor Market Index value of 37, indicating that residents in this area have high exposure to poverty and low levels of labor market participation and human capital.

Disproportionate Housing Needs
Analysis
Which groups (by race/ethnicity and family status) experience higher rates of housing cost burden, overcrowding, or substandard housing when compared to other groups? Which groups also experience higher rates of severe housing burdens when compared to other groups?
For the 2022 Consolidated Plan (ConPlan), the City of Temecula analyzed 2013-2017 Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) data to determine if particular race/ethnic groups at various income levels disproportionately experience any of the following four housing problems:
• Lacks complete kitchen facilities: Household lacks a sink with piped water, a range or stove, or a refrigerator.
• Lacks complete plumbing facilities: Household lacks hot and cold piped water, a flush toilet and a bathtub or shower.
• Overcrowding: A household is considered overcrowded if there are more than 1.01 people per room.
• Cost burden: A household is considered cost burdened if the household pays more than 30 percent of its total gross income for housing costs. For renters, housing costs include rent paid by the tenant plus utilities. For owners, housing costs include mortgage payment, taxes, insurance, and utilities.

According to the analysis in the ConPlan, at least one racial/ethnic group is disproportionately impacted by one or more of four housing problems in all income levels. Disproportionate impact means that a particular group is more likely to experience housing problems when compared to the population as a whole. As the table below shows, among Temecula households that earn up to the area median income (0-100% of AMI), Black, Native American, and Hispanic households are more likely than other households to experience at least one of the four housing problems listed above. Ninety-three percent (93%) of Black households, 89% of Native American households, and 84% of Hispanic households experience at least one housing problem. In comparison, 78% of White households and 62% of Asian households experience at least one housing problem. 52 Disproportionate need across household earning 0-100%AMI 100% 93% 89%

The 2022 ConPlan also analyzes the disproportionate impact of severe housing problems by race/ethnicity. Similar to housing problems, severe housing problems are defined as:
• Lacks complete kitchen facilities: Household does not have a stove/oven and refrigerator. • Lacks complete plumbing facilities: Household does not have running water or modern toilets.
• Severe overcrowding: A household is considered severely overcrowded if there are more than 1.5 people per room.
• Severe cost burden: A household is considered severely cost burdened if the household pays more than 50 percent of its total income for housing costs. For renters, housing costs include rent paid by the tenant plus utilities. For owners, housing costs include mortgage payment, taxes, insurance, and utilities.

As with the above analysis, the table below shows that, among Temecula households that earn up to the area median income (0-100% of AMI), Black, Native American, and Hispanic households are also more likely than other households to experience at least one of the four severe housing problems listed above. Seventy-nine percent (79%) of Native American households, 72% of Black households, and 61 % of Hispanic households experience at least one housing problem. In comparison, 48% of White households and 41 % of Asian households experience at least one housing problem.

Which areas in the jurisdiction and region experience the greatest housing burdens? Which of these areas align with segregated areas, integrated areas, or P/ECAPs and what are the predominant race/ethnicity or national origin groups in such areas?
Map 6 — Housing Problems is a series of maps showing concentrations of households experiencing one or more housing burdens and population distribution by race/ethnicity and national origin, for both Temecula and the region. On these maps, areas with darker shading have a higher percentage of households experiencing at least one housing burden. Housing burdens in this context are: cost burden, defined as paying more than 30% of income for monthly housing costs including utilities; overcrowding; lacking a complete kitchen; and lacking plumbing. The maps show that northwestern neighborhoods in Temecula have a high concentration of families experiencing one or more of these housing burdens, compared to other neighborhoods. These maps also show there is no apparent concentration of specific racial/ethnic or national origin groups in the areas with high or low concentrations of housing burdens —as we have seen in other maps above, residents of different races/ethnicities and national origins are fairly well integrated across Temecula.

In the region, there are high concentrations of families experiencing one or more of these housing burdens to the east and to the north/northwest of Temecula. It appears that these areas with high concentrations of families experiencing one or more of these housing burdens in the region (as shown by darker shading) are also areas with concentrations of Hispanic residents, as well as residents born in Mexico.

Describe the differences in rates of renter and owner occupied housing by race/ethnicity in the jurisdiction and region.

The table below, titled "Homeownership and Rental Rates by Race/Ethnicity", shows the percentages of households that are renters and homeowners by race/ethnicity, for Temecula and the region. In Temecula, 64% of all households own their home, however there are significant disparities by race/ethnicity. The homeownership rate for White, Non -Hispanic residents in Temecula is highest, at 68%. Asian/Pacific Islander households have a comparable homeownership rate of 65%. However, only 55% of Hispanic and Black households own their home. For Native Americans, the homeownership rate is even lower, at 42%, however the population numbers for Native Americans are quite small and therefore estimates are less accurate.

In the region, the overall homeownership rate (62%) is slightly lower compared to Temecula, but similar disparities by race/ethnicity are present. Homeownership rates for White, Non -Hispanic residents and Asian/Pacific Islander residents are even higher in the region (at 70%) than compared to Temecula, while homeownership rates for Black residents are even lower (at 42%). The homeownership rate for Native Americans is higher in the region than in Temecula (52% versus 42%), but still lower than most other groups. For Hispanic residents, homeownership rates in the region and City are almost identical (56% and 55% respectively). 57 Table - Homeownershio and Rental Rates by Race/Ethnicity Temecula, CA (Jurisdiction)

Draft Citizen Participation Plan
As required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations found at 24 CFR 91.105, this Citizen Participation Plan sets forth the City of Temecula policies and procedures for providing citizens and other interested parties with opportunities to participate in an advisory role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The City receives CDBG funds annually from HUD, and this program is administered through the Community Development Department.

As a recipient of CDBG funds, the City is required to produce the following documents:

1. Assessment of Fair Housing/Analysis of Impediments — a five-year planning document that examines housing and demographic data to identify fair housing issues, determine contributing factors and establish goals to take meaningful actions to address and overcome any fair housing issues identified. The Assessment of Fair Housing/Analysis of Impediments examines data to identify any patterns of integration and segregation, racially or ethnically concentrated areas of poverty, disparities in access to opportunity and disproportionate housing needs.

2. Consolidated Plan — a five-year plan that documents the City of Paramount's housing and community development needs, outlines strategies to address those needs and identifies proposed program accomplishments. The Consolidated Plan includes the City's policies related to displacement of low- and moderate -income individuals, reducing poverty, removal of lead -based paint hazards, preventing and mitigating homelessness and affirmatively furthering fair housing choice.

3. Annual Action Plan — an annual plan that describes specific CDBG projects that will be undertaken over the course of the fiscal year to meet the strategic plan goals of the Consolidated Plan and to affirmatively further fair housing choice.

4. Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) — an annual report that evaluates the City's accomplishments and use of CDBG funds.

The primary objectives of the Citizen Participation Plan are to:

1. Encourage citizen participation by all Temecula residents in the development of the Assessment of Fair Housing/Analysis of Impediments, Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plans, and CAPERs, emphasizing the involvement of low- and moderate -income residents, people living in locally -designated blight areas or primarily low- and moderate - income neighborhoods, people living in neighborhoods where CDBG funds are proposed to be used, people with disabilities, minorities, non-English speakers, and residents of assisted housing.

City of Temecula

2. Encourage participation by all stakeholders in the development of the Assessment of Fair Housing/Analysis of Impediments and Consolidated Plan, including but not limited to:
public and private agencies that provide assisted housing, health services, and social services (including those focusing on services to children, elderly persons, persons with disabilities, persons with HIV/AIDS and their families, homeless persons), community - based and regionally -based organizations that represent protected class members, organizations that enforce fair housing laws, the local homeless Continuum of Care, other public and private agencies that address housing, health, social service, victim services, employment, or education needs of low-income individuals and families; homeless individuals and families, including homeless veterans; youth; and/or other persons with special needs, publicly funded institutions and systems of care that may discharge persons into homelessness (such as health-care facilities, mental health facilities, foster care and other youth facilities, and corrections programs and institutions), state or local health and child welfare agencies, Public Housing Agencies, resident councils, business and civic leaders and adjacent Cities and regional government agencies, including local planning and transportation agencies, particularly for strategies that go beyond a single jurisdiction.

3. Give all citizens reasonable and timely access to meetings, information and records relating to the City's CDBG program.

4. Give all citizens the opportunity to identify and respond to proposed uses of funds.

5. Give all citizens the opportunity to review and comment on program performance.

This Citizen Participation Plan, together with other program documents may be provided in alternative formats for persons with disabilities upon request.

For information on the CDBG program, citizen participation opportunities, the Assessment of Fair Housing/Analysis of Impediments, the Consolidated Plan, Action Plans or CAPERs, please contact the CDBG Consultant in the Community Development Department. BACKGROUND: The California Vehicle Code (CVC) requires local authorities to review, reaffirm or adjust speed limits within their jurisdiction every seven (7) years based on an Engineering and Traffic (E&T) Survey. The CVC also mandates that new speed limits be established based on an Engineering and Traffic Survey. The E&T survey provides the mechanism for the legal enforcement of the posted speed limit by the use of radar or any other electronic speed - measuring device.

As defined in the California Vehicle Code, an engineering and traffic survey is "a survey of highway and traffic conditions in accordance with methods determined by the Department of Transportation for use by state and local authorities." The survey shall include, but not be limited to, consideration of prevailing speeds as determined by traffic engineering measurements, accident statistics, and highway, traffic, and roadside conditions not readily apparent to the driver. These characteristics are all considered when determining a reasonable and prudent posted speed limit.

It should be noted that establishing a speed limit, which is not consistent with the 85th percentile speed, constitutes a "speed trap" and is not enforceable by the use of radar or any other electronic speed -measuring device.

Willdan Engineering conducted an E&T Survey on twenty-four (24) roadways, which included fifty-four (54) segments. The survey indicates that many existing speed limits do not require a change, and the recommended speed limits are consistent with the existing posted speed limits.

There are, however, twenty-three (23) segments where a decrease to the posted speed limit is being recommended. The segments are as follows:

The City has hired Fehr & Peers (F&P) to document existing transportation conditions in the City, provide benchmarking information on how transportation facilities, transportation use and policies compares to other peer agencies (through benchmarking) and will evaluate how much of the current Circulation Element has been implemented. Staff worked with F&P to identify methodology, thresholds, and mitigation to address VMT for CEQA evaluation, which the City Council adopted in May 2020. On July 19, 2021, Staff has a scheduled internal meeting with Fehr & Peers, they present to staff the Data Collection Status. I would like to commend the City of Temecula for supporting diversity in its businesses and support of the arts, in particular the beautiful and entertaining performing art of drag. The Temecula Drag Experience is and always should be supported in our city, and it's contribution to the arts should not be understated. I would love to see it come to The Merc! Related to this, I would like to call for censure of Councilmember Alexander, for using the identity of her position as a city council member to try and undermine this business. As a so-called Christian, she is alllowed to hold whatever beliefs she likes, personally. I say "so-called," because the Christianity I practice preaches love and tolerance, so I'm not entirely sure what she is practicing. However, we

have separation of church and state, and she is not allowed to use her office and station as a council member to object to a city business on religious grounds. She is not entitled to use her city office to rally religious organizations to protest a business that the city supports. This objection on these grounds has no place in city government. It is wholly inappropriate and an abuse of her office. As Mayor Rahn said, there is no issue with this business operation, so Councilmember Alexander once again demonstrates that she doesn't know what her job is.

And to underscore Councilmember Schwank's comments, once again, Councilmember Alexander is drawing attention to our city for hate and zealotry, which I add is also a dereliction of her duties. How much more of this do the citizens of Temecula have to take from her? I am ashamed that any of my tax dollars go to her city paycheck.

Councilmember Alexander, I pray that you can learn to open your heart to true tolerance and acceptance, and that you take an interest in actually doing your job. Until then, you do not represent me, nor the City of Temecula.

Thanks,
Christine T. Massa

Dear Temecula City Council,
Jessica Alexander is a constant source of shame to Temecula, using her religion as a weapon to sow discord and promote intolerance.

A recent Facebook post featuring the Press Enterprise article on the Temecula Drag Bruch Experience, had OVERWHELMING supportive comments for the show, while simultaneously expressing disappointment in Alexander's negativity. At the time I'm writing this letter, 333 people "liked" or "loved" the article featuring Chad Riley and Anthony Aglio's Drag show; while only 4 people responded with "angry" emojis. (Do the math, Jessica!)
This is simple. It's acceptable for Alexander to personally be guided by the practices of her religion; but her religion cannot be forced upon others. It's called SEPARATION OF CHUCH AND STATE! Alexander is

continually harming Temecula's reputation. I thought comparing herself to Rosa Parks was beyond the pale, but her verbal attack on Chad Riley and Anthony Aglio was unwarranted, malicious, and discriminatory.

Therefore, I request the following:

1. Censure the discriminatory actions/comments of Jessica Alexander.

2. Ensure Jessica Alexander does not continue to use her title, city time, or city resources to discriminate against LGBTQ businesses.

3. Attempt to prevent future liability for the City, by making Jessica Alexander stop her inflammatory assertions against LGBTQ businesses, suggesting they will `lower property values and lead to an increase in crime, vandalism and litter,' and suggesting they are `lewd' and `dangerous.' I'm happy to see diversity in Temecula, and I hope we can all welcome new businesses to our fine city, without discriminating against them by applying religious labels or laws on them.

With Respect,
Gia Rueda

I have been a resident of Temecula for 13 years. I live here with my husband and our two children. I love so many things about Temecula but the lack of diversity is not one of them. I believe this is slowly changing and I love it! I want to raise my children in a town where all people are welcomed and loved. I want my children to see people from all walks of life and learn to love and accept them all. I personally am thrilled to see the new business Temecula Drag Brunch Experience come to our town. I would like to welcome Chad Riley and Anthony Aglio with open arms. I see you, I respect you and I support you. I believe drag shows are a unique and diverse form of entertainment. I do not believe there is anything immoral or indecent about these shows. I look forward to attending a show in the future. I have been made aware that Jessica Alexander used her city email to discriminate against this Igbt business and called the business owners evil. This type of behavior is not welcome in the town I love. Ms. Alexander is welcome to her opinions but I do not believe she should use her government position to discriminate and/or defame anyone. I would like to thank Zak Schwank for condemning Jessica Alexander's behavior. I would also like to thank Matt Rahn for speaking up and citing that the drag brunch is legally allowed to operate. I will continue to support and welcome the Igbt community in our town. I look forward to helping Temecula become a loving, diverse community.

So you all have a copy!
Hello Randi,
Please feel free to share this as I stand and Support Jessica Alexander and her efforts to keep our beautiful City of Temecula FREE from all the
trends such as this "Drag Queen" event you "SECRETLY" allowed in our city this past Sunday! Listen, we have a strong Judeo-Christian presence as parents and residents in this city and our duty is to keep this city focused on what keeps us unique and the mecca for families in this county! Allowing a business to be run and host such events, goes against 100% of our city values and it is beyond disappointing knowing this had to be hosted "secretly,"

speaks volume to the fact this would NEVER be allowed or supported by the majority of the Temecula residents. WE NEVER HAD A SAY! Now we will!
Temecula has been on a rise in the homeless population, opioid cases, theft, and other criminal activity! Remember, with growth comes growing pains! Are you ready
for what this will bring to our city?? Are you?? Have you thought about it?? Probably not, just followed the crowd right! Please know that you are ALL being watched by us residents and parents and what you think is going to be "OK'd" by us, to bring into our city, you are absolutely wrong!
Zak and Matt, the majority of us here in Harveston, rallied for you and you had our vote, you have officially lost that! Why would you ever think this would be OK? Why??
You think you won't be accepted or part of the cool kids club that has come into this city since covid, if you stood up and supported Jessica?? What's next???? A strip club??
See you all tonight at the meeting!! We DO NOT want this in our City! Jessica, we fully STAND with you!
Chad and Anthony, I don't care to even remotely look up your info to copy you on this email as you are irrelevant! What you are trying to "drag" into this beautiful city and well preserved community is not welcomed!! Forward to them if you please! Sincerely,
Andrea De Rose

Good evening City Council Members,
I am writing tonight to express my disappointment in Jessica Alexander's comments in a recent Press Enterprise article regarding a local business, Temecula's Drag Brunch Experience. Her comments were misinformed, narrow-minded, and inflammatory. As a community member, you may have your opinions, but as a government official and city representative, having your personal religious ideologies prompt your actions is inappropriate. It is shameful that we have a City Council member defaming the character of two individuals and discriminating against LGBTQ business owners in the community. These actions should have consequences and should not ever be allowed to happen again. It is so critical to understand that words and actions affect those in our community. When Councilmember Alexander makes outlandish claims that this will link to crime in the area, she is creating fear and stoking hate.

I wanted to express my disgust and disappointment with the way Jessica Alexander treated Chad Riley and Anthony Aglio and their Drag Brunch Experience. A Drag Show is an exceptionally fitting business for the Temecula landscape. The only time I have attended one is during a Bachelorette Party. Every time my husband and I visit a Temecula winery on the weekend, there is guaranteed to be a Bachelorette Party wherever we go. It seems like the perfect match for this city. The fact that Jessica Alexander called into question the morality of these small business owners for no reason is disturbing and I feel there needs to be repercussions for her actions. A Drag Show is no more "lewd" than any of the MULTIPLE comedy shows that are showcased throughout Temecula. I have never heard of her harassing these establishments. Does Jessica Alexander spend her weekends protesting the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians and their casino? Jessica Alexander seems to only represent a small fraction of fanatics in Temecula. She certainly does not represent myself and my family and I hope the Temecula City Council considers how unprofessional and flat out wrong she was and makes her face the consequences for her appalling actions.

Sincerely,

2 Kim McChesney

Dear Randi Johl,
Jessica Alexander is the minority voice on this board yet, represents the majority of this valley.

Alexander upholds the US Constitution, works to keep traditional American values alive in the Temecula Valley and her integrity is utmost in her leadership as councilwoman.

We're not in Vegas or LA, where trans and drag culture breed confusion, lies and sexual promiscuity.

This is Temecula, an agriculturally rich, thriving suburban and tourist destination.

My husband and I are local faith leaders and elected officials. We understand, first hand, the importance of quality leadership at the local level. We strongly support Alexanders position and actions.

Thank you.

Dear Members of the Temecula City Council,
I am writing you today out of concern over one of your council members, Jessica Alexander. Since she was voted into the council I have been concerned about her push to include her religious views into her position. Time and again she has shown that she is either unable or unwilling to separate her personal feelings and beliefs from her job on the council in which she represents a wide range of people with many differing beliefs.

Recently I read an article from the Press Enterprise, which quoted Jessicas incorrect, harmful, discriminatory, and vile comments against the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience and its hosts. I have attended multiple drag shows in the past and the only thing they encourage is laughter and a fun time for attendants. Her claims of crime and lower property values are not based in fact but instead in fear. Having an opinion on the event is one thing. Using her position on the city council to try and have this event shut down as well as spread mis information about the event and its hosts is unacceptable.

I request that the city council censure Jessica Alexander over her blatant discrimination and misuse of her position and title.

Thank You
Jennifer Reeves

Hello,
I would like to comment on the recent statements and actions made by council member Jessica Alexander.

Discrimination in any form is not acceptable. She openly discriminated against Mr Riley and Mr Aglio's business and even used her city email to do so. Harassment and Defamation have consequences. Are you above the law Ms Alexander? As a council member you were elected to represent the people of Temecula. Instead, you continue to only represent your own specific religious ideology. Clearly, you have demonstrated that you are incapable of respecting the boundaries of church and state over and over again. I call for you to be removed from your position as council member of Temecula or in the very least for your Censure. Your actions and words were unwarranted and discriminatory.

I would like to thank the other council members and mayor for their service. Especially to Zak Shwank who continues to speak up against the numerous comments and actions of Ms Alexander. It has not gone unnoticed, Thank you Mr Schwank.

Regards,

Jamie Lopez

We moved here almost 10 years ago, looking for a family friendly, fun, safe place to live and enjoy having our kids visit in our retirement years. I question the value of adding "entertainment" that is agenda based to our community. Make no mistake, this is more than just two businessmen who want to open a business that provides a novel show to entertain.

Little by little our Temecula as we know it will become a city unfit for conservative families to live in. For those who enjoy confusing the gender identity crisis even more in the guise of "fun", there are plenty of places that offer that:

Palm Springs, Vegas, to name a couple. Why must we flaunt that here as well? Jessica Alexander is completely within her rights to object to this type of negative influence coming into our city. We should applaud her unyielding sense of right and her unwavering commitment to preserving the Christian moral heritage of Temecula.

I am writing this email in support of Councilwoman Jessica Alexander. Jessica represents the opinions of her constituency accurately and with a forceful voice. She is a breath of fresh air in an increasingly left leaning city council and is a woman of character and conviction to her core beliefs. The last time I saw such conviction was when Councilman Nagar stood firm against the Susan G. Komen run in Temecula beause of their financial support of Planned Parenthood. This took real courage in the face of an organized and deep pocketed institution. I believe Jessica's opinion that drag events should not be supported by the City of Temecula is correct and you, the City Council, should set a tone of conservatism. Back this lady who has demonstrated real courage and honor, don't dismiss her. Jessica has our full support and is and outstanding Councilwoman.

Dear Ms. Johl,
I wanted to take the time to write you as a resident of Temecula Valley. I am aware of the condemnation of Councilwoman Alexander. I hope, that for you as Executive Director for the City's Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Commission, that you also want to include the values/opinions of a vast majority of Murrieta and Temecula residents. Most of us do not support the drag/trans movement and therefore Temecula Drag Brunch Experience, and do not want it here.

I am confused, that if most of us do not want it, what minority of government officials and/or residents are asking for it? Or is anyone even requesting it? What agenda is the City of Temecula operating under? We are asking for Zak Schwank & Matt Rahn to support us and stand with Jessica, as her values and views should be included.

Many people have moved to this valley for what it used to offer for families. Many people will leave this valley eventually if it turns into a downtown, risque entertainment hub. If this is the goal of the Board, please be honest with the community, because when this stuff is brought here and you know darn well, we don't want it, as a majority of the population, it speaks loud and clear on how you feel about us as residents.

Thank you for your time,
Kimberly Auer

Dear Temecula City Council.

My wife Leni Lee and I, Brynley Lee (residents of Temecula since 1998 and 2003 respectively) are compelled to write this letter to express our outrage at Councilmember Jessica Alexander's use of her official City email to engage in discriminatory and defamatory harassment of a legitimate and legal Temecula business, the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience. We ask the Council to take any and all measures within their power to, at minimum, censure and condemn:

The Councilmember's breach of her elected duties and responsibilities to represent, promote and serve all the business and residential constituents of our City in the best interests of everyone in the City, and Her crossing of an ethical red line to use her City email as a platform to promote her personal politics of discrimination and hate against a particular business presumably based upon the protected legal status of its owners (why else did she single out this one particular business?), and Her participation in physically trying to interfere with this legal business entity's legitimate efforts to conduct their business without interference from an elected City representative acting in this manner absent any official, legal, or City statute -based reason to do so.

Contrary to the Councilmember's statements to the press, there is no evidence to support her claim that this business will increase crime or that the owners of this business are evil or that the presence of this business will drive down property values. These reckless - and false - comments are defamatory and based in discrimination - and they expose the City to liability in that she appeared to be speaking for the City in her official capacity.

As property owners in the City, we frankly are more concerned by impacts on our property values from the reputation of our City being a place of active (not passive) intolerance against certain groups of residents and businesses, exemplified by the apparently sanctioned actions and words of one of its elected "leaders." As business owners, we are also mortified by the prospect of City officials like Ms. Alexander actively engaging in public defamation and discrimination against business owners in the City under the color of her official position as a representative of the City.

Surely the Council will agree that the actions of Councilmember Alexander, while being reprehensible and morally indefensible, perhaps even more importantly in real terms put the City in some serious legal jeopardy. This cannot be sanctioned or tolerated - as in this case, failure by the Council to act could be viewed as tacit approval and complicity, further increasing the City's exposure.

We commend those Council members who have already spoken out against her actions but we ask that the remainder of the Council act as a single body to ensure that Ms. Alexander is made the subject of consequences for her actions that put the City in legal jeopardy and discredit and bring shame to the reputation of the City, its Council and all of us residents in this City.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Brynley Lee & Leni Lee

EXPERIENCE
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

Good Evening Temecula City Council,
My name is Suzi Oliver and I am writing to you to express my concerns regarding the Temecula Drag Queen Brunch Experience.

I would like to state that Councilwoman Jessica Alexander speaks for the overwhelming majority of our community and any attempt to censure or condemn her is censuring and condemning our voices as well.

Next, I call on Matt Rahn and Zak Schwank to join Jessica Alexander in standing for the majority of our community.

I absolutely do NOT support the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience and do NOT want it welcomed in our community.

This is nothing more than a further attempt to indoctrinate our children into what is harmful behavior and to normalize a most dangerous type of dysphoria.

I would like to point out, that according to the Centre For Suicide Prevention:

0.5% of the population is trans. (Which begs the question, why is our society catering to, at the expense of family values, to such a minute minority, while ignoring the overwhelming voices of the majority?)

10% of trans people report recently attempting suicide, within the past year.

Trans people are two times more likely to think about and attempt suicide than gay and lesbian people.

And perhaps the most staggering statistics:
22% - 43% of ALL trans people attempt suicide in their lifetime AND, two thirds of trans youth report self harm within the past year.

Putting a pretty name on this event, such as 'brunch' is all smoke and mirrors. Gender dysphoria is very real, and clearly harmful. Anexoria is also a type of dysphoria, where a person believes they are fat, and as a result, they can and do - starve themselves; often resulting in death. No medical practitioner, or everyday citizen, would assure that person their belief is healthy. Why, as a society, are we suddenly feeding into a person's misguided belief that they are the wrong gender and encourage them to take drastic measures (such as life altering surgeries, hormone blockers, etc) that cannot be reversed? As a parent of four children, I strongly and emphatically support Ms. Alexander's stance on this matter and I implore City Council to do the same.

Thank you
Suzi Oliver

Councilwoman Alexander shares our foundational family values. It is our responsibility to protect all our kids and their childhood.

We also call on Matt Rahn and Zak Schwank to join Jessica Alexander in standing for the majority of our community.

To be clear, we do not support the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience and do not want it welcomed in our community.

Hi Randi,
> I'm writing as a concerned member of the community. I have seen comments from the Temecula Unity Facebook group calling to reject statements and beliefs from Councilwoman Jessica Alexander. Councilwoman Alexander speaks for the overwhelming majority of our community. This attempt to condemn Alexander from a so called "unity" organization is condemning us as well. This kind of rhetoric is divisive and goes against the foundations of our Constitution.

Temecula is a city that we are proud to be a part of. It has so many wonderful spaces for its residents to enjoy and a larger aquatic facility would be such a great addition to our community! As swim parents and coaches with TMEC we have witnessed first hand the need for more pool space and time. TMEC draws swimmers from all over the valley to our wonderful town, and what a gift it would be to have ample space and pool availability, and not only for competitive swimming but for other aquatic sports as well. Thank you for your time and consideration! David and Kacy Winger

To the members of the Temecula City Council,
I am a decade -long Temecula resident and I'm really concerned about the actions our City Council person Jessica Alexander has taken against other citizens of our community. Her latest hate is being spewed toward our LQBTQ+ businesses and residents, and it seems she's using her status as a city official to shut down a legal business. WHY IS JESSICA ALEXANDER GOING AFTER LEGAL, TAXPAYING BUSINESSES? I am tired of her using city resources to push her personal agenda.

I am calling on the Temecula City Council to censure Jessica Alexander. Time and time again Jessica screws up, yet there are zero consequences. Jessica needs to STOP using the City of Temecula to spread her hate and misinformation in our city. Calling residents names, harassing their businesses, and making our city look bad is not okay. Our citizens deserve a council member who represents ALL of us, not just the ones she agrees with. —Brandee Lilly

I also feel councilwoman Alexander speaks for the majority of our community and all my friends. Any attempt to censure her is censuring and condemning all of us as well.

Thank you for reading this a mail and I hope that you and your and fellow board members agree with our opinion.

Hello Temecula city council,
I am a resident of Wildomar. However, I frequent the city of Temecula for shopping, church, and my children's learning and activities. I do believe in a free market society. I believe that it is better to let people see the error in their ways and chose a better path, then force them to see the truth. The principles this country is founded on provide for businesses to pursue success with as little government involvement as possible.

With all of that said, I believe certain types of businesses we allow in our city should be carefully considered. In the case of the drag queen brunch experience, this business should be looked at with caution. Certain questions have to be asked to ensure adults enjoying their freedoms remains within the context of that business and those adults alone. I am thankful for Council woman Jessica Alexander for having the discernment to use caution. There is nothing wrong with being concerned about the influence this business would have on the community. The necessary pause for concern is not bigotry or homophobia. It is a representation of the thoughts that many of us also have. I hope that she will be allowed to show this concern and continue to think of questions that we may not have even considered.

Protecting the innocence and purity of our children is just as valuable as protecting our freedoms as adults. My request is that all of the council members juggles this responsibility in a balanced way.

Thank you,

Karen Brann

I understand that "drag queen" shows are allowed under free speech but maybe not in Old Town Temecula. There are rules and regulations for everything and one of them may be that these kinds of venues may not be allowed in Old Town Temecula. Are Bible -believing Christians allowed to have a church in Old Town Temecula? Are there double standards? As some have discriminated against Councilwoman Jessica Alexander for her beliefs, I think most of the public does not want drag queen shows, strip shows, massage parlors, and marijuana shops in Old Town Temecula; it takes away from the character of the city. Can a conservative church or mosque build a steeple next door to the Public House and sing every few hours all day long? Those drag queen shows are noisy. Some may ask how I know that. I didn't know that until I stood outside of the Old Town Temecula Loft a few weeks back when they had a show there. It is very noisy outside.

There is another side to this. Can we stand out on the sidewalk, as our new ministry, and hand out Christian tracts to the people attending these events? It is a target rich environment; people needing hope, peace and real love.

Many of us came to this area to get away from "big city" life and adding drag queen shows is adding this "Big City" life to our communities. I don't want to go to one of these shows but that lifestyle spills out into the public areas and I am not comfortable with that. Do my feelings matter or is it just one sided feelings? I support Jessica Alexander in her quest to keep these types of venues from infiltrating Temecula or Murrieta for that matter. Are strip shows next? If you add these venues in Old Town, you'll need to expand the police vice squad to arrest the people that aren't just looking for a show. Just where are all the trafficked -children from the Mexican border going anyway? Will Temecula be the new center for these poor kids? Bob Kowell

Good Evening Temecula City Council and fellow residents, We are writing tonight to urge you to consider and then approve the development of a 50 meter pool here in Temecula.

We were fortunate enough to have joined the Swim Team at TMEC a couple of years ago, where we have had the pleasure of watching our son and so many other children / kids develop their swimming skills, be a valued member of a team, and more importantly watch their confidence sore. We attribute this to the amazing staff at TMEC but also to the city for providing the necessary facilities. Swimming is a huge part of our family's life! The popularity of swimming has grown, so much in fact that we are now in a position that requires the ability to enhance the training opportunities of the TMEC program. In order to do so we require more space and a 50 1 foot pool would provide us the space we need, and the pool length necessary to give people the proper training opportunities.

Not only do we want to see our TMEC kids master the art and skill of competitive swim, we also know the importance of all children in our city having another facility to learn how to swim. As parents, and residents of Temecula it is important for us to have a facility that is capable of meeting the needs of Temecula residents — and in this case —the TMEC team.

Thank you for your time,
The Politte Family

Good afternoon,
We are sick and tired of people who claim to want to better our community, yet push events that have the ability to harm it. Adult events should take place in certain districts and in the evenings when children are tucked away safely. Holding a Drag Brunch in the middle of the morning at a ranch was a bad choice. Trying to push out council members for their desire to protect our community is disgraceful. The ranch has exposed themselves for who they are, and they DO NOT stand for our community values. We won't stand for this kind of activity and applaud Jessica Alexander for speaking up for our community. We citizens are done being treated so poorly because of a few twisted individuals, who, rather than having their fun at an appropriate location and time, choose to do it in the middle of our beautiful wine country in the middle of the day.

WE support Jessica Alexander!

If this becomes a recurring event and Temecula becomes an open LGBTQ area I will no longer be visiting old town especially with my children. This would be unfortunate as we visit old town frequently and enjoy the restaurants and shops.

To Whom it concerns,
As a 20 year Temecula resident, I am writing to defend Jessica Alexander's right to free speech and support her speaking out against drag shows coming into our community. While there may be some audience for this style of 'entertainment', I believe there is a large majority of this city's population that does not want it in our city. We have long been known as a family friendly community and a safe place to raise kids. As drag shows become more prevalent and tolerated, it can open the door for more drag time story hours for children, etc., ... we know there is already an agenda out there to sexualize children at a very young age - and to teach gender studies to 5-8 year olds!! If adults want to go see a drag show, let them go to Vegas. I firmly believe most Temecula residents do not want drag shows in our city. This opinion does not make me homophobic or transphobic or any other kind of phobic. I don't hate anyone or begrudge a restaurant trying to make money/bring in business. But I fear going in this direction invites an immoral element that will eventually degrade our community values.

Sincerely,
Jeannie Rivenbark

Dear Randi,
I do not support Temecula Drag Brunch. Although people have the right to conduct their lives as they wish, it is an outward sinful display of their inward sinful lifestyle. This lifestyle is not of God and should not be acknowledged as acceptable behavior. They can live their life as they want, but the City of Temecula, as a family based community, should not agree to support this brunch.

God created man and woman. 2 genders. Gen 2:9, Gen 21-22 The Devil has come to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10 Satan has been working hard from the beginning of the fall with Adam and Eve to destroy mankind and turn us from the knowledge of God, by living in our sin, and not repenting and turning to God. We are beautifully and wonderfully made, made by God and in His image. God does not make mistakes or junk.

God is not the author of confusion. The Devil is. It is the sin of man kind and the work of the enemy to tell people they do not know who they are, tell them lies, and confuse them. This spirit has permeated our culture, schools, and society.

All these people who do not have natural affection, or think they are a different gender than how they were born, are being ensnared by the Devil and his lies.

In love, we should minister to them to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ that they might repent and be saved. I do not support being mean, rude or judgmental. But speak the truth in love and let God do the work in their heart.

This Temecula Drag Brunch is not of God and should not be promoted and excepted.

This sinful behavior is a slap in the face to God who created them in His image. And this is not His image. We, as Christians, are to uphold the Word of Truth and walk in love.

I hope that you will consider the negative impact this will have on our family based community. We are a conservative community, with Godly morals and values.

It's time for Temecula City Council to stand up for what is right! Please vote NO to not allow the Temecula Drag Brunch.

Thank you for your time,
Carol Haley

To whom it may concern,
It has come to my attention that there is an attempt to censure councilmember Jessica Alexander for standing for moral integrity in this community. Mrs. Alexander was elected for many reasons one of which is that she represents the values that the community collectively holds and she stands for during times such as these.

A Temecula Drag Brunch is not something that will benefit the community at large and only will sow seeds of division in this community.

Right now we need events and groups that will bring us together not tear us apart.

I call on other councilmembers to stand with Mrs. Alexander and oppose a drag brunch as any type of official community event.

It has come to my attention that Councilwoman Jessica Alexander is being singled out by the group Temecula Unity for stating her view regarding the City of Temecula welcoming and giving its stamp of approval for the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience. The group is calling for the censure and condemning of her for speaking out. Councilwoman Alexander speaks on behalf of the majority of our community and in support of children who will be confused and influenced by this.

In the United States we have the bill of rights that legally protects business and individuals to free speech and peaceful assembly. The government can not close business which they personally don't like. Under this amendment and set with legal precedence of the "lemon test", the government can not establish or give special privileges to any particular religion. Jessica Alexander violated the first amendment when she used government resources to curtail the actions of a local business citing her religion as just cause. She also publicly defamed the character of local Igbt business owners which is against the anti discrimination clause to our California Constitution, which she swore to uphold and defend. We can not and must not allow a city council member to violate our constitution while in office. I am calling for a formal censure and to remove Jessica Alexander from all city committees and business as she openly discriminates against others and uses her religious ideology to guide her decision making in government rather than the constitution. She is opening up our city to lawsuits which puts our taxpayer resources in jeopardy. Enough is enough, what is it going to take for the city to do something about this?

I would like to voice my opinion and the shared opinion of ALL my neighbors, family, and friends regarding the "Drag Brunch Experience" here in Temecula. I strongly urge you to listen to the community and not welcome this type of "experience".

Councilwoman Jessica Alexander speaks for the vast majority of families within this community. Any attempts to silence or censor her position and voice is essentially silencing us as well.

I urge Zack Schwank and Matt Rahn to join Ms. Alexander to oppose this type of "experience" in OUR community. It is not welcome here and we do not want our children subjected to this.

Krissi

I'm writing this in regards to the Trans reading program that the Temecula Unity Group is trying to bring into our Community. I feel that this should NOT be brought into our Community, most parents I have spoken to are against it, and you give That Fake Unity Group too much Power in Our Valley! The things being allowed into Our Beautiful City will lead to the downfall of Our Beautiful Town. There's a reason so many people have flocked to this Gorgeous Valley, and it's rooted in Family Values, not Pornography and Sin!

We call on Matt Rahn and Zak Schwank to join Jessica Alexander in standing for the majority of our community.

I do not support support, on any level, the Temecula Drag Brunch Experience and do not want it welcomed in our community!!!!

Hi -
I have been a resident of Temecula for almost 17 years, and this is the second time I have written to the city in the last year, and both times it is about the heinous verbiage and actions of Jessica Alexander.

While the city itself is not responsible for the above, I think it hurts all of you, and us, when her hateful language is put out into the universe when she represents our city. I am speaking of her recent homophobic comments to the Press Enterprise about the Drag Brunch in wine country. (See below for my letter personally written to her).

As representatives for the city, you must know that she used her city email to openly discriminate against an LGBT business.

She also defamed the character of the two Drag Brunch owner/operators, Chad and Anthony, and questioned their morality by calling them evil.

If she wants to spout her homophobic nonsense, she needs to do it as a civilian and not via the resources of our city. This behavior is ironic since she considers herself Christ -like. Far from it! There needs to be consequences for her actions.

I thank you in advance for reading this,
Fredric Ball

In a recent Press -Enterprise article, you said,"This is not something we want to see in our city ... I personally believe this kind of behavior doesn't bring a good atmosphere — we don't want Vegas here in Temecula."
Who is this "we" you are talking about? Have you talked to everyone in the city or just your church members? I am guessing it is the latter.

As for "not bring(ing) a good atmosphere," have you seen Old Town on a weekend night? Or any place that serves alcohol in the city? If you looked at the videos posted on the organizers' Instagram, you will see that the audience is mainly young adult to middle aged women, not the demographic for bar brawls or shootings. Many are in attendance for bachelorette parties, and they are there to dance, sing, and have a good time with their friends - DURING THE DAY.

While you fear "lower property values ... and ... increase in crime, vandalism and litter," again, have you SEEN the people who attend the events? None look especially seedy or dangerous. Do you really think that these woman are engaged in "possible lewd or sexual acts"? Women about to get married? With their fiancees and mothers, aunts, and grandmothers?

Couple this brunch with your recent comments about the Drag Story Time in Riverside, and it seems like your problem is with gay people. (P.S. As a 53 year old gay man who was raised reading stories only about heterosexuals... you can see that "grooming" is another red herring that the conservative "wrong" use to incite fear.

Speaking of the book store, you said, "What bothers me is, there is obviously an agenda that these individuals have and they are pushing it on our youth." Agenda: to encourage young people to read? To show how reading and learning can be fun? What about YOUR agenda? We all have our own faith and values, but why should you force yours on others? Christianity is not the only religion in this country, and your ilk seem to have co-opted it and weaponized it for hate.

Hi,
I'm a concerned citizen that has been living in the area for about 6 years now. When I moved here, I stayed because this area wasn't big city living that includes all the evils of living in a big city. Big cities have lots of crimes and homelessness, and they also have no ethics, morals, values, prinicple's, or foundations on which they stand for. This city of Temecula was/is more country style and more Christian and family oriented with values and morals to raise kids by. Any group that is promoting lewd and disgusting behavior openly in front of children should not be welcomed here.

Just a few years ago there was a well know evil pedophile, that democrats with their lack of morals, released from prison and made his way to this area. He was quickly run out of town for the safety of everyones kids. That type of behavior is not welcomed here. It shouldn't be. That type of behavior doesnt belong anywhere, but definitely not in the Temecula type of area where we have Christian values and want to protect the children and raise them with strong convictions and a healthy moral foundation.

Jessica is fighting to keep the wholeness and purity of this community and she should be supported, not attacked. This is a Godly community with values and morals and should be protected. We respect each other and want to protect the children. This is not "sin city" Vegas, or any style of living close to that. It should be protected. A group, or "unity group" that wants to bring lewd misconduct and behavior out into the open to groom children is definitely uncalled for and disrespectful to the people of this community.

That type of group brings and supports: lewd sexual conduct, mental illness, child grooming and pedophilia, and it also sends the message to others that the city is welcoming to evil acts that corrupt innocent people. To let a group openly have "drag" shows in broad daylight will slowly diminish the beauty of the city as more un-Godly criminal behavior gets attracted to the tolerance of letting morals slip away. Jessica is fighting to protect the goodness of this community and you should as well, OR YOU WILL BE REPLACED.

We dont need this area turning into another big city style of life that has chaos and un-Godly criminal behavior running free through the city day and night. This is not the area for that, and that gay couple promoting this atrocious behavior need to understand that this behavior of theirs to indoctrinate the children into their lifestyle is not accepted. They moved to the area because they liked the wholeness of it, and now they are trying to destroy it. DON'T LET THEM.
1 If you wanted to be an elected official to preserve the beauty of the area, then do so. If not, then RESIGN, or be replaced by those who will, like your fellow councilwoman Jessica, and more like her. Think about it, do you want your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews raised in the chaos of sin, or big city type of chaos that lets all evil get by? Every inch you give that gets communities further and further away from Godly behavior is another inch closer to evil and violence. Saying "its legal" is not an acceptable form of allowing evil to grow. You can't be a Christian if you knowingly and purposely let evil in the door.

Stand with Jessica in opposition to the vile acts of evil and the attacks against her by that evil "unity group", or be replaced by those who will. Preserve the value of the city, the reason you stay and live here, before its gone.

Sincerely,
An angry and concerned citizen

As a long time Temecula Valley resident, I want to voice my opposition to the Drag Brunch Experience and do not want it coming to our community. You may have already voted, or it is still under consideration, but I join Councilwoman Alexander and the overwhelming majority of those in our community who want to protect our children from this indoctrination and confusion it causes to our growing children.

Hi there,
I have lived in the Menifee/Temecula area almost all of my life. I now have a family and three children I am raising here.

My husband commutes to San Diego and LA for work. Do you know why we and many other families don't live in the cities we commute to? For reasons like this one.

We choose this place because it is safe. Because it is wholesome. Because it is a family community.

If people want events like this they should move to places where they already have it. North Park, Hillcrest, Hollywood etc.

This doesn't belong in Temecula and ESPECIALLY doesn't belong in the middle of the day on Front Street.

If you walked up and down Old Town on weekend days you would see families. Strollers, toddlers, school age children, middle school children, teenagers, moms, dads, grandparents etc.

We don't need to turn the corner and have to explain to our kids what a drag queen is. This is not right, and this is not Temecula. If this gets approved Temecula will start circling the drain. It won't be immediate. It won't be overnight but eventually our schools will suffer. Our nice public areas will suffer. Our neighborhoods will suffer. This type of event will be a catapult to a whole change in lifestyle and community.

So, this email is to show my opposition!
Jordyn
