What is your plan to
complete your
project/program
should those or other
challenges arise?
We have faced numerous physical (venue) and financial challenges to host these events. Our events are attended by large number of people, so we need huge hall space for Navratri. We also need a softball field for sports event. We plan ahead our events so that we have ample time to request venue/space, identify a lead for the event to have one point of communication and raise funds through sponsorship from our members to meet expenses. Post Covid-19, due to inflation, we have experienced high fees for rentals, food and labor needed for our events. 4 - Project/Program Location

Thank you for your interest in applying to the City of Rancho Cordova's Community Enhancement & Investment Fund. Applications are open from February 10, 2025, to March 14, 2025 (Noon). Before you being please read the notes about deadlines and certain types of grant applications/grants below. School/Park Application Deadline **Note that projects or programs involving a park or school district have a deadline of March 3 (Noon) to allow for the third-party endorsement process by the grant deadline.** A Note about Religious Schools and the Application/Grant Process **Note for grant applications from religious schools. The United States Supreme Court has recently ruled in part that: “denying a generally available benefit [from government] solely on account of religious identity imposes a penalty on the free exercise of religion that can be justified only by a state interest of the highest order.” The City is of the opinion that not all grants to religious schools are prohibited under this and other similar rulings. However, these United States Supreme Court decisions remain in conflict with a section of the California State Constitution that says:
“[n]either the Legislature, nor any county, city and county, township, school district, or other municipal corporation, shall ever make an appropriation, or pay from any public fund whatever, or grant anything to or in aid of any religious sect, church, creed, or sectarian purpose, or help to support or sustain any school, college, university, hospital, or other institution controlled by any religious creed, church, or sectarian denomination whatever; nor shall any grant or donation of personal property or real estate ever be made by the state, or any city, city and county, town, or other municipal corporation for any religious creed, church, or sectarian purpose whatever”. The City will accept applications for grants of these City public funds from religious schools, but will have language in the grant agreements to address the possibility and consequences of legal challenges and new court decisions on this and related topics. ** Future Grant Opportunities If you are interested in remaining up-to-date on available grants from the City of Rancho Cordova, click here to sign up for the Grants Interest List. A separate call for programming opportunities with the Rancho Cordova Youth Center is anticipated later in 2025. The list is also used to advertise separate art programs when funds are available.

Project/Program
Synopsis
A pilot program of Sattva California to cultivate wellness for students and staff of Mitchell Middle School through Positive Mind Performance Training consisting of guided breathwork and meditation conducted in-person weekly. Supporting daily on-line classes will also be available for those requesting additional support to reduce stress and anxiety.

Project/Program
Description
Our goal is to provide a Positive Mind Performance Training pilot program to school employees and students at Mitchell Middle School to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mental health, boost productivity, enhance team communication and cultivate wellness.
Sattva California, the home of Positive Mind Performance Training, is a meditation, breathwork and yoga sanctuary located in Capital Village of Rancho Cordova. Our intention is to offer our Positive Mind Performance combining mindfulness breathwork and meditation training to school employees and students of Mitchell Middle School. Training would be in person at the school and livestream classes will be provided daily and available for school employees and students.
As outlined by Mitchell Middle School Principal Dr. Sandra Garcia: "The plan is to offer two-15-minute sessions to targeted students, based on data gathered by our COST. These sessions could take place during our Flex.
We currently offer Flex on Wednesday - Friday, with a focus on academics on Wednesday and Thursday, and SEL on Friday. The services would also be extended to our staff, on a volunteer basis, during non-contractual hours. This could take place either before school or after school." The potential benefit to students and employees of the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District is enormous. All of the major health networks in Sacramento including Dignity, Kaiser, Sutter and UC Davis support and encourage the use of breathwork and meditation to cultivate wellness including mental and physical health. A positive mind is an intelligent mind conducive to learning, supporting community and promoting healthy physical and emotional well being. A negative mind leads to depression, fear, anger, hatred, and loneliness.
For those looking to cultivate, motivate, and train to be more productive, successful, happy and performing at their highest level, Positive Mind Performance Training is that edge. Positive Mind Performance Training combines mindfulness breathwork and meditation training in 15-30 minute sessions conducted by certified experts.Positive Mind Performance Training Program is designed for busy minds. Optimum mental, physical and emotional health benefits include but are not limited to:
REDUCES STRESS & ANXIETY
BOOSTS CONCENTRATION, ENERGY & PRODUCTIVITY
IMPROVES EMOTIONAL, MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH
ENHANCES DECISION-MAKING & TEAM COMMUNICATION
EMPOWERS POSITIVE RESPONSIBILITY, PRESENCE & CONFIDENCE ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3

Team
Our Positive Mind Performance Training team for this pilot program includes certified breathwork and meditation teachers Talia Davis and Bajrang Moran, founder of Sattva California. As noted in the letter of support by Mitchell Middle School Principal Sandra Garcia, "Ms. Talia Davis is not new to Mitchell, she has been a consistent substitute teacher and has taken several long-term substitute positions at our site for the last two years. I share this because it shows her commitment to the site and her awareness in terms of the needs of our student population." Provide your

Goals
The pilot project's goal is to cultivate physical, mental and emotional wellness among students and employees at Mitchell Middle School including reducing stress and anxiety, boosting concentration and productivity, enhancing positive decision making and team communication, and empowering positive responsibility, presence and confidence. Dignity, Kaiser, Sutter, and UC Davis Health Networks all endorse breathwork and meditation as tools to reduce stress and anxiety and improve health. These goals are verified by one's experience with the training and with the applications of the training available consistently to those students and staff who participate. Our compliance and review will include reporting from participants, teachers and administrators.

implementation?
What is your plan to
complete your
project/program
should those or other

Any new program offering takes planning. The administrators of Mitchell Middle School are excited about the possibilities of how this pilot project can result in positive outcomes for students and staff. Sattva California has a number of trained facilitators in the Positive Mind Performance Training classes that can teach as needed for the on-line and in-person offerings.
Working with the FCUSD administration to fulfill any requirements will be a learning curve but we're confident in our abilities to fulfill any compliance necessary. Mr. Moran serves as the President of the Sacramento Police Foundation which operates in coordination with the Magnet Academies in Sacramento so he is familiar with some school compliance policies involving grants.

Project/Program
Synopsis
NorCal Arts will provide every classroom at Williamson Elementary, Cordova Gardens Elementary, and Cordova Villa Elementary with 10 Theater Arts & Conflict Resolution (SEL) integrated classes. NorCal Arts will also provide all 3 schools with an after school production and after school performing arts classes for students.
Provide a
Project/Program
Description
During the 2025-26 school year, the NorCal Arts Outreach Program will offer our integrated theatre arts and conflict resolution (social-emotional learning -SEL) residency and after school theatre production to 460 students at Williamson Elementary, 271 students at Cordova Gardens Elementary and 440 students at Cordova Villa Elementary serving a total of 1,171 students. All 3 schools are located within FCUSD and have Title I designation. Students interested in expanding their connection to theatre arts have the option to participate in a musical theatre production during the spring 2026 in the after school space.
Integrated Theatre Arts & Conflict Resolution program classes are delivered throughout the regular school day in collaboration with teachers.
These classes are led by a NorCal Teaching Artist who weaves socialemotional learning and conflict resolution capacity building signature practices into the arts lessons. Classes support emerging bilingual learners in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment. This culturally responsive classroom program challenges students to utilize their creativity while learning vital collaboration and communication skills. Through the application of the creative process, students learn empathy and resiliency while participating in curriculum that includes theatre, music, poetry, improvisation, dance, and creative writing. The active and engaged learning environment provides meaningful ways for students to develop new skills. Students build empathy muscles when they step into a character role and have to understand the character’s motivations and experiences.
This skill transfers to other areas of the student's life and creates a practical experience they can reflect on when compassion is needed.
Mental health challenges are addressed by creating a vehicle for selfexpression in a safe and supportive environment. Students learn to trust themselves and their decision-making abilities while developing higherorder thinking skills during improvisation exercises.
These classes act as a professional development opportunity for the classroom teachers by providing resources to learn how to integrate SEL strategies through theatre arts as they participate in the process.
ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
Curriculum and lesson plans align with the CA State Arts and ELA Standards and are shared with teachers so exercises can continue once the program concludes.
During the spring of 2026, students interested in expanding their theatre arts experience participate in an afterschool project-based learning model that culminates in a family and community engagement event. This theatrical musical production includes sets, costumes, lighting, sound, and the cutest talent you have ever seen! Families are proud of their children as they sing, dance, and act their way through shows like Pixar’s Finding Nemo Kids or Disney’s The Little Mermaid or Lion King Jr.
This collaborative project engages students in the arts and supports selfexpression and identity exercises by creating multiple pathways for student self-exploration. This positively responds to mental health, isolation, and socialization challenges resulting from COVID and the overuse of technology while increasing confidence, creating a sense of belonging, and building authentic connections to self, peers, and the community. Through the City of Rancho Cordova Community Enhancement & Investment Fund, students benefit from SEL and conflict resolution training, arts engagement, theatre training, and a theatrical music production they would not otherwise have access to.

Goals
The NorCal program is intentionally aligned with the City of Rancho Cordova Community Enhancement & Investment Fund priorities and uses qualitative and quantitative program assessments for progress monitoring.
Goal 1: Provide integrated arts sessions aligned with CA State Art and ELA Standards to 460 students at Williamson, 271 students at Cordova Gardens Elementary School, and 440 students at Cordova Villa Elementary School.
Goal 2: Provide age appropriate conflict resolution strategies, utilizing theatre as a tool to practice empathy and positive peer communication.
Goal 3: Create culturally responsive and inclusive arts learning environments for students including emerging bilingual learners.
Goal 4: Provide SEL, conflict resolution, and arts curriculum, resources, and professional development for teachers equipping them with skills to ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
continue to guide the integrated arts process.
Goal 5: Train students on positive self and peer assessment and constructive discernment models.
Goal 6: Produce a family and community engagement culminating theatrical musical performance showcase featuring students.
Goal 7: Utilize Theatre Arts as a tool to increase student confidence, creating a sense of belonging, and building authentic personal connections.
NorCal Arts' goal at Williamson Elementary, Cordova Gardens Elementary, and Cordova Villa Elementary is to provide theatre arts classes for students that can also act as a professional development for teachers on theatre arts and Conflict Resolution (SEL) integrated techniques for the classroom. These classes will further engage students and support the emotional and academic well-being of students. NorCal Arts will provide an after-school theatre program at all three schools to help students obtain life skills related to increased ability and confidence with public speaking, selfmanagement, communication and collaboration. Student involvement in theater arts and SEL-integrated activities provides students critical thinking opportunities to help them in school and beyond. Student engagement in the arts also positively impacts cognition. Upon the completion of the program, NorCal’s Executive Director will provide an impact report to include video and photo documentation of teaching artists in the classroom/rehearsal room and the students’ final presentation. The impact report will include information on the specific ELA, SEL, and VAPA standards achieved; as well as survey results. NorCal management will observe teaching artists in the classroom and review daily reports. After each class, classroom teachers will fill out a survey via Google Docs that is programmed to go directly to the teaching artist and the Executive Director/Program Manager so that feedback can be immediately incorporated into the next lesson. Student progress will be notated throughout the process. Formative assessments will be woven into the lesson plans throughout the artistic process of both the classes and the after-school theater program. The curriculum will be created through a backward design approach with the summative assessment (final outcomes) referred to during the curriculum creation process.

NorCal Arts Timeline:
August/September 2025 - Meet with school principals to schedule classroom visitations and regular day/time for each classroom, decide on show title for spring show and discuss goals.
October-December 2025 - NorCal School staff will implement 10 theater arts/SEL integrated classes in each classroom at Williamson Elementary School, Cordova Gardens Elementary and Cordova Villa Elementary School. This will have the added benefit of generating excitement about a spring musical. Final class of the 10 class series will include a final presentation for students to share skills obtained.
January 2026 - Auditions & registration take place for April productions.
NorCal Arts (NorCal) invites parent involvement with organized parent meetings that help to explain process, rehearsal schedules, time commitment, and to solicit parent engagement (community building).
January-April 2026 - Rehearsals begin 3-4 days a week, After- school, 3 to 4 days a weeks for 1-2 hours of rehearsal each day. Community and parent engagement occurs by actively getting them involved in building sets, creating costumes and props, and helping to engage parents and community to support the final production.
April 2026 - Dress and tech rehearsals, final presentation, performance, & assessments
Note: At all 3 schools, the principals (Leslee Cottrell, Amber Carter, John Bliss) are extremely supportive of NorCal Arts' programming and realize the need for the students and teachers to have SEL strategies integrated into the arts. This grant would provide an amazing opportunity for students to participate in the arts while receiving the added benefit of addressing student emotional health. Theater Arts & SEL integrated classes and rehearsals include: Physical and vocal exercises, Improvisation games and SEL welcoming signature activities, movement and main lesson. Students devise a final piece and engage in the creative process together to support building community.

Re: Continued partnership with NorCal School of the Arts To whom it may concern:
I am writing to express our support for NorCal Arts continuing to provide a Theater Arts Program integrated with Conflict Resolution strategies as well as an after school production at Cordova Villa Elementary. I strongly feel our students at Cordova Villa would benefit from 10 weeks of this program during the school year to support conflict resolution concepts. The arts are a perfect way to deliver Social Emotional Learning and Conflict Resolution strategies, as the Arts already provide so many opportunities for students to connect, build community and act as an outlet for self-expression and creativity.
Teachers and families at Cordova Villa Elementary have seen that bringing the arts into our school deepens the concepts that they are trying to teach in their class and engages students to want to come to school. Prior to NorCal Arts, our resources were unable to support a theater program at our school for many years. Partnering with NorCal Arts has benefited all students, but especially students who learn differently and excel in other ways such as through movement, singing and verbal expression. It has helped students connect to each other in a meaningful way and this Arts Integration program in the classroom also was a professional development for the classroom teachers, providing arts integration strategies and perspectives to address students' emotional needs.
This school year, NorCal Arts brought Lion King Kids to Cordova Villa Elementary, and the production was amazing! It has provided extended learning and enrichment for our expanded learning program and provided so many life skill lessons for our students ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
including collaboration, critical thinking and increased engagement in storytelling and literacy. We would love to bring another production to Cordova Villa Elementary in the 2025-26 school year.
Thank you for your consideration for Cordova Villa Elementary. Thank you for investing in the children in Rancho Cordova as we continue to try to nurture their talents and prepare them for a successful future.
Sincerely,
Amber Carter

Description
Enhancing Rancho Cordova Little League Facilities for a Stronger Community
Rancho Cordova Little League (RCLL) has been a cornerstone of our community since 1954, providing a positive, structured environment where children develop not only their baseball skills but also their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our league fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership, ensuring that every player leaves with lifelong memories and lessons that extend far beyond the field. Many former players return as parents, volunteers, and mentors, further strengthening our league’s legacy.
For the 2025 Spring Season, we have approximately 500 children, ages 4 to 14, participating in RCLL. Our teams practice and compete at facilities located at Cordova Lane Elementary, W.E. Mitchell Middle School (Folsom-Cordova Unified School District), and Ahlstrom Park (Cordova Recreation and Park District). As a nonprofit, we take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our fields, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for players, families, and volunteers.
Thanks to previous funding from the Community Enhancement and Investment Fund grants, we have been able to purchase essential lawn maintenance equipment, upgrade our snack bar, and improve field conditions. However, maintaining our eight baseball fields and surrounding areas requires continuous investment. To uphold safety standards and enhance the overall experience for all participants, we must annually inspect, repair, and replace critical infrastructure and equipment, including but not limited to:
Field & Facility Maintenance/Upgrades: Infield and outfield care, field dirt, clay, turf, weed control, fertilizer, fencing, netting, signage, bleacher & shade repair, dugout enhancements, tools, lawn equipment, and structural repairs.
Player & Game Equipment: Bases, base anchors, pitching mounds, home plates, batting cage improvements, scoreboard upgrades, and player/coaching/umpire gear.
Storage, Safety & Security: Organizational systems, emergency medical equipment, and security enhancements.
Snack Bar & Facility Improvements: Upgrading food service equipment, storage, and general upkeep.
We work closely with Folsom-Cordova Unified School District and Cordova Recreation and Park District to ensure proper maintenance and adhere to all necessary approval protocols for facility upgrades.
With this grant, we aim to continue these vital improvements, reinforcing RCLL’s role as a safe, inclusive, and thriving space for youth baseball.
This funding will directly contribute to the ongoing success of our nonprofit program and support the long-term sustainability of Rancho Cordova Little League until a final decision is reached regarding the City’s Legacy Fund.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RESPONSE
I. Scope of Work
A. Introduction:
Skyhawks Sports Academy is one of the largest sports program providers in the United States with well over 100,000 participants annually and operating in nearly 30 states. Our mission is to teach life skills through sports. We offer traditional skill-based sports offerings for ages 4 to 14 years. A newer addition to our offerings is STEM Sports®, a first-of-its-kind program that explores the science behind sports. Whether it is a clinic, class, camp or league, Skyhawks offers it all.
Skyhawks has been operational in Sacramento for over 12 years in Sacramento and has been coaching more than 5000 kids every year.
B. Scope of Work
1. Provide multiple sports activities across multiple formats
2. Provide sufficient instructors to maintain proper participant to coach ratios of 8:1, 10:1 or 12:1 depending on the program type/age group.
3. Provide all equipment required to operate each program type
4. Ensure all instructors have cleared a background before beginning work
5. Place Requirements: Our curriculum does not require a field, most of the programs can be run in a limited space as small as a basketball court.
6. Follow RCYC directive that programming will follow timeframes and maximum duration listed.
C. Objectives
1. Teach life skills through sports. We aim to positively impact the Rancho Cordova community by providing youth the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of athletics and establish a healthy lifestyle.
II. Proposal Submittal Requirements
A. Introduction, Company Information and Qualifications – Attachment C: See attached for ATTACHMENT C that outlines requested company information, local representative information, ability to meet needs, delivery timeline and company references.
1. Description of similar local services provided with existing client – A reference list has been provided on Attachment C, but below we have provided expanded details on a few of our local community partners:
2. Equitable program access – Skyhawks Sports Academy was founded on the vision that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing sports. To provide every child with that opportunity, it is our mission to create and sustain a safe, inclusive, and equitable community by teaching life skills through sports.
We achieve this vision by providing access to a diverse programming line-up that serves ages 2 up to 14 regardless of ability level, background, age, race or gender. While the majority of our programs will fall within a standard pricing and format structure across various formats, Skyhawks is open to implementing a separate tier of programs priced and formatted with a goal of serving low-income communities within the city. We are excited to soon be launching our non-profit arm, Skyhawks Rise, which aims at sourcing funding and scholarships to provide low-cost or free programming for underserved communities. We are excited for any potential opportunities to include RCYC in these future efforts to reach new communities.
B. Program Description
ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
Youth Enrichment Programming for City of Rancho Cordova (Sept 2025 – July 2026) 3
1. Set-up/Clean-up time – The typical format of our programs includes time for staff to setup and clean-up the program they are working.
2. Program Needs – Skyhawks will provide all equipment needed to run successful programs. What we require from RCYC is:
a. Facilities – Field space, gym space, classroom space. A basketball court size field needed for most of the games.
C. Personnel: Staff Model & Staff Training – Skyhawks places an emphasis on hiring and training top-tier staff to run our programs year-round. The quality of our program staff and a continued focus on training and curriculum are a major reason for our success. The Program Director is the leader and point of contact for a program. They are the first contact for parents, oversee health and safety of participants, enforce behavior protocol, oversee program planning, manage equipment and conduct other critical duties. The Program Coach also plays a role in many of the Director’s duties, but with a primary responsibility of teaching and supervising their participant group throughout the program. With the exception of smaller programs, most programs have two or more staff depending on enrollment.
Our standards for employment are as follows:
At least 18 years old (with exceptions for high school-aged Program Coaches) Desire to work with and develop children.
Prior experience with coaching and/or working with children. Access to reliable transportation
Must pass criminal background check.
All staff complete Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
Once hired, all Skyhawks staff complete the “Employee Checklist” that includes additional requirements such as acknowledgment of our coaching contract, standard of conduct commitment, concussion protocol compliance, online coaching test and training registration. Staff participate in both classroom and field training prior to taking the field and Directors attend an additional training session. Our training covers company overview, program planning/curriculum, instruction, safety, behavior management, diversity and inclusion, policies, standard of conduct and more. All Skyhawks coaching staff also become Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) DoubleGoal Coach certified. In regard to curriculum, D. Objectives
1. In a typical Skyhawks program, we aim to teach at least four fundamental skills of the sport. Example: In Skyhawks Basketball, participants leave with increased abilities in dribbling, passing, shooting and defense.
2. In a typical Skyhawks program, we aim to teach five critical life skills. Life skills taught include Respect, Teamwork, Inclusion, Leadership and Sportsmanship.
3. In a new partnership we aim to provide at least three new types of activities to a community. We have our core offerings of soccer, basketball and others that are more frequently. However, we look to introduce additional activities such as volleyball, tennis, one of various STEM Sports programs, multi-sport or SuperTots preschool programs. We have a lot to offer and we know how important variety of activities is to the development of a child.

Youth Enrichment Programming for City of Rancho Cordova (Sept 2025 – July 2026) 9 Skyhawks is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to grow, both as athletes and as people. To achieve this goal, we have developed a simple coaching philosophy:
Engage the children
Create an atmosphere that is positive, respectful and fun Teach the fundamentals of the sport on an "eye-to-eye" level Emphasize team unity and inclusion over individual accomplishment Stress the value of participation over the rewards of winning Demonstrate good sportsmanship by always being a good sport Continually reassess and meet the needs of the participants Each participant should leave with new skills, new friends, a great attitude and a smile! Skyhawks has the infrastructure and resources to offer a high volume of programs at various locations citywide. We hire enough seasonal coaches and on-site directors according to projected enrollment. We have loyal staff that return season after season and plan around their school and other work schedules to create flexibility and work-life balance. Skyhawks is accustomed to hiring, training and supporting over 50-60 active coaches in the Greater Sacramento area during our busiest times of year. We believe strongly in our ability to deliver a high-quality, growing youth sports recreation program to the RCYC community.
Core Values – Skyhawks aligns closely with all Sacramento area school core values. Every Skyhawks program teaches the following life skills: Respect, Teamwork, Inclusion, Leadership and Sportsmanship.
Additionally, we train our site directors to focus on safety, quality and fun at every camp they run. Our policies and teaching methodology are designed around these three top focus areas. Skyhawks aims to provide excellence in all the programs we offer and we fully understand the expectations of customers, our partners and the community as a whole.
Delivery Timeline:
Skyhawks is prepared and has the desire to implement programming immediately beginning October 1st, 2023. We understand it is a short turnaround time, and that we may not be able to begin immediately, but we are ready with a very busy program schedule around the Rancho Cordova area to immediately coordinate with RCYC and begin advertising to customer base. Additionally, we can quickly prepare a Winter/Spring 2024 program proposal with a goal of laying a foundation of programming that includes a diverse lineup of offerings across different age ranges and formats. Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, we are prepared to offer a substantial line-up of summer camps to supplement our lineup for RCYC during the school year.
References:
Experience with public agencies – Locally in the Greater Sacramento region we served approximately 6,600 program participants from 2022 to current, partnering with 15 cities and several other youth-serving organizations. Partner types consist of city park and recreation districts, along with several elementary school entities offering enrichment programming.

Both facets of the program are adaptable to meet in person in small learning hubs or in a hybrid setting. They are aimed at:
• Encouraging students to see themselves as capable of continuing and succeeding in their educational goals;
• Instilling the belief that their future goals and plans are accessible and attainable;
• Building a strong foundation for students in and outside of the classroom; • Putting together a plan for their future beyond high school; • Building a student’s self-motivation to pursue college and helping him or her build a support network of adult mentors to help reach that goal; • Helping students assess their career interests and aspirations.

you anticipate in your
project/program's
implementation?
What is your plan to
complete your
project/program
should those or other
challenges arise?
The submission for student leaders to the Summer Leadership Academy will be late due to student elections. Due to a shortened summer, the students will not have as much time to participate in the summer activities.
This also creates difficulty in recruitment.

Project/Program
Description
The Boost Program is a business and technical support initiative designed to help microenterprise childcare providers in Rancho Cordova stabilize and expand their businesses, ultimately improving access to high-quality, affordable childcare for local families. By equipping providers with business coaching, digital tools, and marketing support, Boost enhances their financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and capacity to serve working families. This program aligns with Rancho Cordova’s Community Enhancement & Investment Fund (CEIF) priorities, promoting economic development, workforce stability, and community well-being.
Access to reliable, affordable childcare is essential for economic growth and workforce participation. Many low- to moderate-income (LMI) families in Rancho Cordova struggle to find quality childcare options, limiting their ability to work and maintain financial stability. At the same time, family childcare (FCC) providers often operate with limited business resources, leading to financial instability, closures, and a shrinking childcare supply.
The Boost Program directly addresses these challenges by:
Supporting microenterprise childcare providers with business training and operational assistance
Helping providers expand capacity to serve more families Creating jobs by enabling providers to hire staff and grow their businesses
Improving the availability of childcare, allowing more parents to participate in the workforce
Boost will ensure that Rancho Cordova’s working families have access to the care they need to maintain employment, pursue career growth, and contribute to the local economy.

Program Activities and Implementation
The Boost Program delivers personalized, hands-on support to childcare providers, giving them the tools needed to operate efficiently and increase revenue. Services include:
One-on-One Business Coaching – Providers receive tailored guidance from industry experts to help them streamline operations, manage finances, and enhance enrollment.
Technology Integration – Providers gain access to digital tools for childcare management, electronic billing, and automated enrollment, reducing administrative burdens.
Marketing and Outreach Support – Boost helps providers develop marketing strategies to attract new families and maintain full enrollment, increasing their financial stability.
Capacity-Building Support – As providers become more financially stable, they receive guidance on expanding their licensed capacity and hiring additional staff.
Workforce Development – The program supports job creation within the childcare sector by helping providers hire and train new assistants, boosting employment opportunities in the community.
Through these targeted activities, Boost ensures that family childcare providers can operate more efficiently, increase earnings, and create a lasting impact on the local economy.
The Community Enhancement & Investment Fund supports initiatives that promote economic development, improve community well-being, and address critical local needs. The Boost Program aligns with these priorities by:
Strengthening Small Businesses – By providing childcare providers with business coaching, financial planning, and marketing tools, Boost fosters economic growth and microenterprise development.
Job Creation and Workforce Support – The program creates new jobs in childcare while allowing more parents to participate in the workforce, reducing barriers to employment.
Enhancing Access to Services – By increasing childcare availability, Boost directly benefits working families, single parents, and underserved communities.
Long-Term Sustainability – The program focuses on teaching providers how to sustain their businesses independently, ensuring a lasting impact without ongoing financial dependence.
These outcomes align with Rancho Cordova’s commitment to economic opportunity, workforce development, and enhanced services for residents.
Expected Impact on the Community
By the end of the program, the Boost Program will have:
Served 10 microenterprise childcare providers, giving them the tools to stabilize and grow their businesses
Created 3 new jobs, contributing to employment growth within the ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
childcare sector
Expanded childcare availability by 140 additional slots, ensuring more families have access to reliable care
Increased provider revenue, helping small businesses thrive and become self-sufficient
Supported working families, allowing more parents to remain employed and contribute to Rancho Cordova’s economy
The Boost Program is designed for long-term sustainability, ensuring that providers become self-sufficient and no longer require ongoing financial assistance. By giving providers the tools, training, and technology they need to operate efficiently, the program empowers them to succeed independently.
Instead of short-term financial aid, Boost follows a "teach a person to fish" approach, ensuring that providers can increase revenue, expand their services, and create jobs without long-term reliance on external funding.
The program also strengthens the overall childcare infrastructure, benefiting the broader community by ensuring a stable and growing network of childcare providers.
With the support of Rancho Cordova’s Community Enhancement & Investment Fund, the Boost Program will drive economic growth, create jobs, and enhance childcare access—all critical factors in ensuring a strong and thriving community for years to come.

schedule
The Boost Program will be implemented from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, following a structured approach to effectively support family childcare (FCC) providers and expand childcare access for low- to moderate-income (LMI) families in Rancho Cordova. The program begins with public outreach and marketing during the first three months to raise awareness among potential FCC providers and families. Simultaneously, applications will be accepted and processed, ensuring at least 51% of participants qualify as LMI. During the second month, participating FCC providers will be assigned Care Coaches, who will provide individualized business coaching and operational support.
Between months two and four, pre-program evaluations will assess each provider’s current financial standing, enrollment capacity, and operational strengths and challenges to establish baseline data. As part of the onboarding process, providers will receive training on Upwards’ Child Care Management Software, allowing them to automate enrollment, billing, and compliance tracking. The program will also actively onboard LMI families, helping them connect with participating providers through the Upwards mobile app.
Throughout the year, business support and capacity-building activities will be available 24/7, helping providers optimize their operations, expand their licensing capacity, and hire staff as needed. Continuous marketing outreach to new LMI families will ensure childcare providers maintain full enrollment, supporting their financial sustainability and business growth. To assess program effectiveness, quarterly feedback surveys will be conducted at months 3, 6, 9, and 12, gathering insights from both providers and families to improve services.
In the final month, comprehensive evaluations will measure the program’s impact on revenue growth, job creation, and childcare slot expansion. The Boost Program will conclude with the submission of end-of-year reports, documenting key outcomes and ensuring accountability. This structured timeline guarantees that FCC providers receive consistent, high-quality support, helping them increase financial stability, expand capacity, and enhance childcare accessibility for LMI families in Rancho Cordova.
ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
What challenges do
you anticipate in your
project/program's
implementation?
What is your plan to
complete your
project/program
should those or other
challenges arise?
The Boost Program is designed to support family childcare (FCC) providers in Rancho Cordova by improving business sustainability, increasing revenue, and expanding childcare access. However, challenges may arise during implementation, including provider recruitment barriers and technology adoption difficulties.
One potential challenge is engaging and enrolling FCC providers who may be unfamiliar with business coaching or hesitant to adopt new technology.
To address this, the program uses targeted outreach strategies, including personalized provider engagement and multilingual support to encourage participation. Care Coaches provide hands-on assistance, ensuring providers feel comfortable integrating new tools into their businesses.
Another challenge is ensuring providers adopt and effectively use the Upwards Child Care Management Software to streamline billing, enrollment, and administrative tasks. To mitigate this, the program includes step-bystep onboarding, real-time troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support, ensuring providers successfully integrate digital solutions to improve efficiency.
In the event of unforeseen challenges, the program will adapt by adjusting outreach efforts, reallocating resources, and strengthening partnerships with local organizations to maintain provider and family engagement. By proactively addressing these potential barriers, the Boost Program will ensure its successful implementation, sustainability, and long-term impact in Rancho Cordova.

SUBJECT: Letter of Support for Federal Funding to Uplift Local Child Care Ecosystem DATE: June 11, 2024
Please accept this letter of recommendation for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding allocation award to Upwards in support of their BOOST program for microenterprises.
As members of Columbus City Council, we understand the importance of the childcare ecosystem to a Columbus family’s ability to thrive. We seek to promote policies and programs that promote the quality of life of every Columbus child, family, student, worker, and small business owner—ultimately uplifting the wellbeing of our neighborhoods collectively. We know that pathways to prosperity must be equitable, intentional, and sustainable, and we know that early childhood education is a key to clearing those paths.
Early childhood education supports the whole community by providing education to young learners, childcare for working families, jobs for childcare workers, and entrepreneurship opportunities for microenterprise providers. These opportunities have proven, long-term benefits to a child’s wellbeing and economic outcomes, a family’s financial stability, and an entrepreneur’s access to generational wealth.
The BOOST program maximizes these opportunities for equitable outcomes helping entrepreneurs open up more childcare slots within their existing early childhood microenterprises.
Childcare providers are the workhorse of a local economy: it is difficult to overemphasize the importance of flexible, reliable childcare for the wellbeing of Columbus’ women. Not only are 94% of childcare providers women, but women entrepreneurs across all industries rely on access to affordable childcare to start, run, and grow their businesses. Furthermore, one-third of children under the age of 6 have parents who work non-traditional hours and require flexible childcare options. Upwards’ programming provides targeted support to upscale the providers who can best meet these needs.
Family child care home (FCCH) enterprises are often the most affordable, flexible, local option for parents. However, many entrepreneurs in this space are under-resourced and face a variety of resulting challenges. Additionally, most FCCH enterprises operate under capacity, without the technology or expertise to expand their facilities into a sustainable business model than can result in sufficient revenue for long-term operations. Columbus is currently home to over 60,000 children under the age of 6, but only about 11,000 licensed childcare slots exist to serve them. This gap in available services is indicative of larger inefficiencies that Upwards’ proposal for CDBG funding seeks to address.

RE: Letter of Support - Federal Funding to Boost Local Child Care Ecosystem Dear Secretary Todman:
Please accept this letter of recommendation for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding allocation award to Upwards in support of their Boost Program for microenterprises.
As members of the Allegheny County Council, we seek to promote policies and programs that promote the quality of life of every child, family, student, worker, and small business owner in Allegheny County—ultimately uplifting the well-being of our neighborhoods collectively. We know that pathways to prosperity must be equitable, intentional, and sustainable, and we know that early childhood education is the key to clearing those paths.

This gap in available services is indicative of larger inefficiencies that Upwards’ proposal for CDBG funding seeks to address.

ReadyNation’s new study found that the lack of adequate child care for infants and toddlers imposes substantial and long lasting economic consequences in Pennsylvania. Effects are felt by parents, businesses, and the state’s taxpayers, with an annual economic cost of $2.4 billion in lost earnings, productivity, and revenue. It’s also costing families. Childcare is one of the largest expenses families face, with infant care for two children costing 49.7% more than the average cost of rent in Pennsylvania.
Yet, child care workers’ families are more than twice as likely to live in poverty compared to other workers’ families, 11.8% are in poverty compared with 5.8% form other industries (Economic Policy Institute, EPI). There is an indisputable need for these services in Allegheny County. We must support evidence-based policies and programs that enhance the availability and affordability of high-quality child care for families.
Boost participants increase their annual revenue by 30% on average while maintaining affordable tuition for each student. Rather than placing the cost burden on families, this is achieved by strategies that reduce inefficiencies, like maximizing available slots day-to-day. An investment in Boost has the opportunity to be a powerful force for good in Allegheny County: our children, our families, our entrepreneurs, our workers, and our neighborhoods will benefit. By bolstering a thoughtful, sustainable, equitable ecosystem of childcare providers, Allegheny County can take steps to ensure that our community thrives in this essential area.
Upwards’ Boost Program presents a meaningful opportunity to leverage federal funding that supports many of our goals for women and families. We ask that the Department of Economic Development and the CDBG review committee consider the depth of the need for services like Boost in Allegheny County when making their funding recommendations.

This initiative holds immense promise in bolstering the microenterprise businesses within our childcare sector, offering invaluable one-on-one coaching and technical assistance.
The vision of Upwards, encapsulated in its BOOST program, resonates deeply with me. It champions not just businesses, but the very fabric of our communities. By providing comprehensive support in areas such as business planning, software utilization, financial modeling, and staff recruitment and retention, Upwards seeks to empower childcare providers to not only thrive but to flourish.
The significance of such work cannot be overstated. It is a beacon of hope for working families across our City. As we strive for economic prosperity, we must recognize the pivotal role that quality childcare plays in the lives of our residents. The Upwards BOOST program has the potential to significantly enhance access to affordable and high-quality childcare, thereby easing the burdens faced by many hardworking families.

Subject: Letter of Support for Federal Funding to Benefit the Local Child Care Industry To whom it may concern,
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Upwards, a pioneering tech company that is making significant strides in supporting local childcare providers with economic development, microenterprise assistance programs that use innovative technology-based solutions to improve access to quality, affordable childcare. As a representative of McHenry County Board District 5, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the positive impact local support has on microenterprise investment, especially in addressing the critical challenges faced by families throughout the County.
In McHenry County, we recognize the vital importance of a well-functioning child care ecosystem to the overall economic health and productivity of our community. We understand that access to reliable, affordable, and high-quality childcare services is not only a fundamental need for working families but also a key driver of a thriving local economy that equitably supports women. Many talented individuals are forced to make difficult choices between their careers and their responsibilities as parents due to the lack of accessible childcare options. By providing local childcare providers with the tools and resources they need to deliver exceptional care, Upwards contributes directly to the enhancement of our local workforce, allowing parents to pursue their careers while ensuring their children receive the nurturing care and early education they deserve.
The childcare industry is in need of greater attention and support to address the current service gaps. Upwards' technology-driven approach not only streamlines the childcare enrollment process, it also empowers providers to deliver quality services that contribute to early childhood development and lifelong success. Supporting the childcare industry strengthens our community, bolsters our workforce, and creates an inclusive and prosperous environment for all.
Thank you for considering our endorsement of Upwards' application and the use of federal funds for improving access to quality, affordable childcare for working families. If you require any additional information or further discussions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or 815 788-8556.

Park City Municipal Corporation
August 5, 2024
To New York City Administration of Children’s Services, I am writing to share our experience working with Upwards as our child care subsidy program administrator.
As you may know, Park City, Utah is a community known for its world-class ski resorts and tourism economy. While this notoriety has supported a bustling community with a high quality of life, it has also resulted in a high cost of living (including child care).
Park City Municipal Corporation has been working closely with Upwards on our NeedsBased Child Care Scholarship Program, which launched on January 1, 2024 and is anticipated to run through December 2025. As a local municipality, we are not experts in reviewing and storing personal tax and other documents. Nor did we want local families to decline to pursue participation due to concerns about sharing their status, and other personal information with a local government entity. For these reasons and more, we knew that we needed the help of a third party to launch a child care program. Through a competitive Request for Proposals process, we received an impressive proposal from Upwards.
While our $1M scholarship fund is a substantial amount of money for our community of 9,000 full-time residents, we realize that we are likely one of Upwards’ smaller accounts.
Despite this, Upwards’ service has consistently met our expectations.
Upwards’ has proven that they can accomplish the tasks that we can not including a streamlined digital process, a dedicated landing page, timely payments, establishing partnerships with local child care providers, and cost-effective administration, ensuring that 100% of our funding is directed towards direct child care tuition rather than administrative fees.
Upwards’ innovative approach and proficiency in managing child care subsidies have benefited our community. We are grateful to have partnered with them and are confident ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
that their services will bring substantial benefits to any organization or community they serve.

To the CDBG Grant Review Committee:
Please accept this letter of recommendation for a CDBG funding allocation for Upwards.
I believe the services that Upwards is proposing for our County could be extremely valuable in allowing existing childcare providers to expand their capacity, as well as helping new childcare providers get started.
There is an overwhelming need to prioritize and support the youngest children in our communities to ensure that they are ready for school and prepared to lead healthy and productive adult lives. Children birth through age five across Santa Barbara County are experiencing conditions that are less than optimal for their development, such as poverty and exposure to traumatic experiences. Research shows that attending high-quality early learning opportunities helps to mitigate the risk factors that preclude children from being prepared to enter school.
Due to a variety of reasons, many children still do not access the available early care and education slots due to prohibitive cost or are on long waitlists. In addition, families often rely on high-quality early learning opportunities in order to stay gainfully employed.
Data from the First 5 SBC Annual Impact Report and the ARPA Child Care Sector Survey Results and Recommendation Report states:
• In fiscal year 2022-2023, approximately 71% of Santa Barbara County’s children enter kindergarten lacking the social, cognitive, and/or emotional capacities they need to succeed in school.
• Childcare capacity falls short of the need, with fewer than 18,000 licensed early care and education spaces for an estimated 30,000 children aged birth to five living in Santa Barbara County. • The greatest need is for infants and toddlers (birth to age 3), with available spaces for only one in five children.
• The cost of care can be prohibitively expensive for working families, who may not qualify for subsidy. Tuition rates in the county range from $200 - $2000 a month, depending on the age of the child, the type of program, and the regional location in the county. The Santa Barbara County average annual cost for childcare (ages 0-12) averages $13,327 for working parents, per child. • There is a potential unmet need of 8,089 infant-toddler spaces if all parents were working and seeking childcare.
Please consider Upwards' application for CDBG funding. Thank you for your consideration.

Project/Program
Synopsis
DESTINATION AVIATION is an immersive day camp exposing students (age 10-18) to the wide variety of career opportunities in aviation.
Participants receive hands-on experiences to learn about aviation history, aerodynamics, and government in aviation.

Project/Program
Description
DESTINATION AVIATION will provide unique hands-on educational experiences to youth aged 10-18 touching on two of the City’s criteria for Community Enhancement and Investment Funds.
Participants in DESTINATION AVIATION will feel like VIPs as they spend the week getting behind the scenes access to regional airport, Air Force base, FAA facilities and University flight training experiences. To cap it all off, the week culminates with the students at the controls of a general aviation aircraft flying over the region– with a certified flight instructor of course.
DESTINATION AVIATION youth events are designed to expose students ages 10-18 to the wide variety of career opportunities in aviation. The goal is to provide an opportunity for students to receive hands-on experiences learning about the history of aviation, fundamentals of aerodynamics, the role of government in aviation, and the many careers available in the aviation industry. The camp-style programs are also designed to help students understand the importance of education and how it relates to various aviation and aerospace careers. Students will also experience the joy of flight, meet a wide-variety of aviation professionals and participate in field trips to many aviation facilities and educational institutions.
DESTINATION AVIATION programming will provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment that fosters curiosity and excitement for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through aviation. In an era dependent upon innovation and creativity, our programs will also provide participants with a platform for cultivating their interests while working collaboratively with their peers to develop lifelong learning skills.
Each program will include in-depth explorations and field trips including:
Exploring the fundamentals of the physics of flight and applications in aeronautical engineering
Engaging in the science, technology, engineering and math of aviation and aeronautics
Exposure to actual and simulator flying; charts/navigation; air traffic ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
control; unmanned aerial systems; fire, rescue and air ambulance; mission planning; virtual reality; Artificial Intelligence; Federal Aviation Administration functions; and a wide-variety airport career fields including wildlife management, airport finance, airport planning, airport property and facilities management – and more!
Instruction on aircraft design and maintenance
Lessons in aviation history
Developing leadership skills by working with others to share ideas and solve problems
Discovering solutions to challenges that affect individuals, communities, and the world
Fostering curiosity and a commitment to scholarship through hands-on experiences
A guardian of one of the 2024 camp participants had this to say about the program:
“I spent more than 30 years in the aviation industry and these kids had a week full of experiences I never had access to! What an incredible opportunity to expose our youth to the wide world of aviation and how education can launch them into amazing and exciting career fields!”
Tell us about your

Team
The program will be delivered by staff of the Capital Airshow Group -- more commonly referred to as California Capital Airshow. Our two full-time staff include an executive director with an extensive aviation background, and a director of operations who is a credentialed teacher recruited specifically for educational program development and delivery.
CCA staff will be supplemented by event support staff under the direct supervision of the Executive Director and Director of Operations.
Provide your
Project/Program
Goals
The goal of Destination Aviation is to open the eyes of 10–18-year-olds to the range of opportunities that exist for them in a broad range of airport, aeronautics, aerospace and aviation related fields.
The primary metrics we use to measure the success of the program are (1) the number of students who complete the week- long program, and (2) the evaluations / commentary received from past participants and their guardians. However, we believe the most compelling -- albeit not concretely quantifiable – evidence we have of program success is contained in the photos we have of participants completely engrossed and enthralled as they participate in the week’s learning activities.

Description
The Rancho Cordova Film Office is applying for funding to produce a fulllength documentary celebrating the 25th anniversary of Soil Born Farms, an urban agriculture and education project that has become a gem of Rancho Cordova and a model for sustainable farming across the region, state, and country.
This film will showcase Soil Born Farms’ rich history, the role the City of Rancho Cordova played in bringing it to the community, and the impact it has had on food access, environmental stewardship, and education. With interviews, archival footage, and immersive visuals of the farm’s dynamic public events, the documentary will capture the heart and energy of the farm’s mission.
Following the success of our previous documentaries—Food for Thought (highlighting the Rancho Cordova Food Locker) and Symphony Serenade (documenting the rise of Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova)—we aim to bring the same level of storytelling and production quality to Soil Born Farms.
The film will premiere at the 4th Annual California Capital International Documentary Film Festival in March 2026 and be submitted to major festivals. Additionally, we plan to develop this documentary into a series and pitch it to streaming platforms, amplifying the reach of Rancho Cordova’s agricultural legacy.
Project Goals & Objectives:
1. Honoring Soil Born Farms’ Mission & Legacy
The documentary will highlight Soil Born Farms’ 25-year journey and core initiatives:
Local Organic Food Production: Creating and protecting urban farms that serve as sustainable food sources.
Community Education: Providing hands-on learning in farming, ITEM 12.1. ATTACHMENT 3
nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
Food Access for All: Addressing food insecurity through distribution programs benefiting underserved populations.
Reconnecting with Nature: Uniting people through shared agricultural experiences and sustainable practices.
2. Showcasing the Vibrancy of Public Days at Soil Born Farms Through stunning cinematography, we will capture the excitement and energy of Soil Born Farms’ public events, including:
Families engaging in farm tours and educational activities Farmers markets and the bustling mercantile filled with local goods The on-site café serving fresh, organic meals
Collaborations with regional farms and farm-to-fork restaurants Workshops and hands-on classes that empower the community
3. Elevating Rancho Cordova’s Cultural & Agricultural Impact By documenting the impact and influence of Soil Born Farms on a regional and national scale, this film will reinforce Rancho Cordova’s commitment to sustainability, food education, and community development.
Why the Rancho Cordova Film Office is the Right Choice:
Established Presence in Rancho Cordova: Founded in 2020, we have been dedicated to preserving and promoting the city’s cultural and historical legacy through film.
Proven Track Record: Our past documentaries—Food for Thought and Symphony Serenade—garnered strong community engagement and critical recognition.
Experienced Filmmaking Team: Charles Lago, the director, has five distributed film credits, with work showcased on Amazon, Paramount, and Hulu. His latest documentary on Tom Sizemore is currently under consideration by Apple.
Commitment to a Broader Audience: Using the connections we have, we plan to pitch this project to major streaming platforms, further amplifying Soil Born Farms’ story beyond Rancho Cordova.
Budget & Funding Request:
A detailed budget has been submitted alongside this application, covering:
Pre-Production: Research, scripting, and logistics planning.
Production: Filming at Soil Born Farms, archival footage integration, and interviews with key figures.
Post-Production: Editing, music composition, and final polish.
Marketing & Distribution: Promotion, film festival submissions, and screenings.

With this project deeply rooted in the Rancho Cordova community, we prioritize local engagement and measured growth, ensuring that the program remains artist-driven and responsive to the needs of our community. Securing excessive external funding could introduce administrative burdens, reporting requirements, or expectations that shift the program beyond its intended scope, potentially diluting its impact.
By working within a well-structured funding model, we safeguard the authenticity and sustainability of this initiative, ensuring that Rancho Cordova remains at the heart of the creative vision. Our goal is to develop a thriving, self-sustaining arts ecosystem that supports local artists, engages the community, and fosters long-term cultural enrichment—without straining organizational capacity or compromising our artistic integrity.

Anticipated Challenges & Solutions for Healing Through the Arts
1. Securing Sustainable Funding
While classes have been successfully filled through a small community grant, securing long-term funding remains essential for program expansion and sustainability. To address this, the program will continue applying for additional grants, seeking sponsorships, and fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations to ensure ongoing financial support.
2. Increasing Engagement Beyond Receptions
Although program receptions are well attended, a challenge has been encouraging local attendees to visit exhibitions outside of these events. To enhance participation, the program will expand marketing efforts, extend viewing hours, and incorporate interactive elements such as artist talks, live demonstrations, and guided tours. Strengthening collaborations with local businesses and organizations will also help increase visibility and draw a wider audience.
3. Expanding Community Outreach
Reaching a broader audience, including neighboring communities, is vital to sustaining program growth. Board members are actively working on a larger outreach strategy, including rebranding the website, improving flyer distribution, and leveraging social media. Additionally, partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations will help increase awareness and participation.
By addressing these challenges with targeted solutions, the Healing Through the Arts program will continue to grow, foster community engagement, and create lasting impact.
